Actually, they can. If you go below 45 on an interstate you can be ticketed. And, really, it's not safe to drive way slower than the flow of traffic. On the expressway, traffic generally moves about 75 miles per hour or above, regardless of the speed limit.How about being an ass about it and "slowing" instead of speeding? Can they give you a ticket for slowing?
As I said, I hadn't had a ticket in about ten years until I got a convertable. I'm not driving differently. I may just go back to driving the big old Suburban and getting 14 miles per gallon rather than the 28 I'm getting in the convertable. Police seem to ignore the Suburban.
