I met a guy in my taxi a few months ago. He was Dutch and worked for Apple in the USA. This in my mind was right. Phillips designed the ipod and Phillips are Dutch and he said that's what he did R&D for Phillips and Apple.
He had a magical little device that he popped into my hand. It was a new ipod that will not be on the market for a very long time. It was about the size as a credit card, which isn't unusual in itself, except it was the width of a credit card??? My immediate question was "where is the battery hidden!!!" Ah he said?? secret! It has a very powerful battery that will revolutionise the world as we know it. The battery was made up of a couple of magnetically charged waffer thin elements coated with a metalic material that oscellates at very high frequency when in contact with the earths gravity! This does sound like science fiction I know but he also said this had been lisensed by OPEC (Shell) and others - I take it to keep it from being reproduced. I said well could you put it in a car? he said well of course that's why the oil producing nations were in on it. I think it works on the Russian scientist Testla and the theory of magnetism and gravity to make a perpetual battery that needs to recharge EVER. The guy got out my taxi and left me wondering what the hell I had just seen.

Also - I was watching the news a few days later early in the morning when I got in. There was a G4 meeting or something in Brussels and the whole conference was about climate change and carbon control and reduction. I did notice that they mentioned Shell in the the same sentence as Phillips? how wierd-a-coinsidence was that? when talking about generation of energy - I really think there is something in this technology to replace convetional use of fossel fuels, not because of carbon but because it's essentially free electricity.
Interesting ! I am going to keep my ears open and see what develops . Sounds like you are telling the truth . Good gossip . Maybe something here ! I don't know about free energy , but you never know when efficiency will be more evolved. Almost free? possible? Nothing will be free as long as there is a monetary system . All production is subject to cost if promissory note are the exchange. Even Non Profit """Businesses"""

PS probably you misunderstood. Certainly a very thin high capacitance capactor for low voltage instead of conventional battery is possible and some thin piezo-electric material crystals that is even slightly shaken could charge it (or even possibly be the dielectric of the capactor ?) but the energy would not come from gravity (From oscillatory vertical motion in gravity yes, that is possible.)
No. It sounds like NONSENSE as the only way to get energy from the earth's gravity is to lower some mass closer to the Earth's center.
