I have her on ignore so I cannot actually see her posts, she seems to be going through some personal crisis and I'm trying to avoid stoking it. Its probably cowardly of me, but I can never resist temptation so its best to avoid it.

"perhaps" is not good enough in sigh and definitely not good enough to be the basis of moderation. i simply do not have the confidence in anyone here to make these ridiculous "good faith" judgments and expect it to be accepted without question.

the onus is on you or anyone else to indicate how and why you make these assessments.

Well I don't believe sciforum has ever had any serious problems with theists or anti theism until the last few years. But I agree with the last part. I do think that you are being treated as 'special' and not like 'everyone else' as you should be banned. I didn't think so at first as I thought there was something else going on but now I see that its true what you say, that because you fall into some 'special minority status' more so than any black member could claim you are being allowed to ruin this site with your tantrums and personal agenda. Rightfully so you should be banned for being a divisive distraction.

I know but you see this entire thing is being blown way out of proportion by Sam, its all her personal crusade or something and its unhealthy for the site in general. The next thing you know there are the little flies who come out to join in the rant as it now gives license to all sorts of bigotry and sets a precedence where everyone who doesn't agree is called a 'racist' or protective of jews. Most people here no matter what they believe do not get stuck on one particular issue. Sam is speaking about protection as a muslim but this is not a religious site, this is not an activist site. She is the one who sets herself apart and then claims both to want to be treated as everyone else and then at the same time wants special treatment towards her religion and then claims to understand that the only reason why the mods put up with this divisive distracting stuff is because she's a 'dark skinned, muslim female'. Go figure.

we always had problems with theist here in sci. the emphasis was on bashing christians until 9/11. bashing theists was then taken to a whole new level

This kind of statement proves that Free-Speech should in fact have limitations. I suppose my belief in Fundamentalism is so negative a trait, eh? Though it leaves me wondering...how could it be that Jewish fundamentalism simultaneously supports state autonomy (Israeli independence) and globalism. Especially when entire passages of the Torah are devoted to defining the autonomy...and others devoted to saying 'You shall not interfere with their affairs...'

England. Although saying that for the most part I don't tend to mingle much with any Theists, apart from when those Mormon's and Jahova's try to convert me. The best attempt so far was actually a Krishna.... To be honest, religion is about belief and I'm all for hard underlining undeniable facts.
