it is not USA BOMBING IN KABOL AFGANISTAN

it is local oposition cells that are against the taliaban(which the taliban killed its leader yesterday)

i doubt USA will do something till they are 99.999% sure who really did it
cause it will be very bad for USA if it turns up that they were southie red-neck militia dudes.

terrorists

OK guys, now we find out if the US means business?!? It's too bad that for some people the only answer is violence!?! As a superpower, we may start doing stuff just like the Israelis, undercover guards on all flights. Maybe start with no carry-on luggage, etc. I heard that the weapons used were easily passed. I have a conspiracy-buff friend that is sure that the US has a DNA sniffing satellite( he says some guy he knows was killed after they developed the technology, I find it hard to believe, no evidence of its use earlier against Osama bin Laden), well if its true now is the time to use it!?! I guess the bloodshed begins?!? Too bad for all concerned!!!

This was after we saw 'Enemy of the State', he says that an acquaintance worked on the project??? I find it hard to believe, but if they do??????? Well, it's time to use it!!!! I think the timing would be just right.

Randolfo,
While I am sure that the US has many black budget projects and some of them dealing with the techonolgy of satellites and spying capabilities this has the makings of another urban legend. I don't think we as yet have this kind of resolution for our spy usage. You are talking another level that will require stuff that we are not yet capable of producing. The computer for discrimination alone would be prohibitively costly even for gonernment budgets, much less the data base required. Coupled with the type of pickup which is yet another issue, I do not think at present we reach this capability. But this may not hold true for the future as it does today. But it will not be tomarrow either.

I don't know about DNA sniffing satellites but I do know that Satellite technology has been implimented in the understanding of the known universe and constantly scans the stars, and from what information it compiles you can find out what types of materials are in those solar systems.

This also can be said if you looked at something with an electronmicroscope, looking at the sub-atomic levels through submillimetre wave readings. So you might not spy a person for their DNA but perhaps they have a unique level of Ammonia caused through stress and sweat.

Stryderunknown,

What you speak of here is spectroscopy. It is well known that when passing light through a prism that a rainbow of colors will break out. By passing the light from the source through a prism the material make up can be determined by what frequencies are present or missing from the light source. It is a little more complicated than that but in essence that is what is done. Through this means any material that gives off light can have its material makeup detertimed. This allows us to figure out what stars have what material within them, nebula, ect.

Getting this ammonia level from space goes back to the same problems posted before. Except it is compounded by the fact it must be first gathered for sample and then analysed by microscope and then compared to a data base that is not in existance.

as I mentioned in another post, the use of doppler removes the need for a microscope or sample, And as for a database I'm sure one would have been created through the application of some of the projects that "don't happen".

I doubt I need to mention about the hypothetical use of unsuspecting patients in multiple experiments or the hypothetical information collected from them.
