They can't not do it. If they don't give up Israel, they will lose their religion.
It seems as if the majority do not care. The ones who do are called "self-hating Jews", and made into social pariahs.

I think there can be no Torah prophecy while Israel exists, its very existence forbids that.
Regardless, what Israel is and has become has already affected its inhabitants, they now have militants and terrorists on both sides of the fence, where previously there were none. So there will be no peace. If the state is divided, people on both sides will fight. If it is one state, people will fight inside. I don't know what the solution is but in the short term, there is none.
The only solution is for Isa and al-Mahdi to re-conquer the land without spilling a drop of blood. Oh, you wanted a less religious solution?
Hmm ... in the short term, I only see matters getting worse. If and when Iran is struck, Israel will have virtually no nation keeping its malicious tentacles in check. Prophetically speaking, Israel and the Persians were destined to clash. Cheski knows what I'm talking about.
I, for one, do not see the highly Westernized Israelis co-existing with the simple, religious Palestinians under one state. The two state solution has many problems as well, considering how much of an advantage Israel would have, thus boosting their influence over the region. Add in the conflicts over water, and you've got a lot of trouble on your hands. I have always proposed and supported the idea that only the ethnic Jews, Muslims, and Christians should be allowed to populate the land. It is the newcomers who are problematic.

I know the bad blood with having israel as a state between the orthodox and zionist jews, but that isn't quite what i am asking you. i'm asking you why you believe that to be. are you merely imaging their ideals onto your own?
Is it? Well hypothetically speaking, lets say israel wasn't a state, it was just land. Land where what would be the palestinians, and the israelis were at a stand still for power. How would that make a difference in them not having a state. No, its written in teh Quran as well.
Personally what I see is that Israel will give rise to a very extreme form of Judaic fanaticism which will eventually bring it down. Unfortunately, it will drown out the Torah Jews and probably drive away the secular ones.
This is for the same reason that we have extreme forms of Islam, poor governance and a reluctant clergy who believe it is "illegal" to interfere in state matters.

The very act of engaging in this war [the Six Day War] was forbidden according to Jewish law, including the coercion of the Jewish People to engage in war with other nations and thereby placing the Jewish People in danger, which is a violation of the Torah. Anyone who violates the Torah and coerces the Jewish People to engage in war and cheapens the blood of thousands upon thousands of Jews by endangering their lives in a forbidden manner and in opposition to the Torah is considered a murderer and sheds innocent blood. Such people are held liable for the blood they cause to be shed. I heard that there were announcements during the war that stated that it was a necessary and positive war according to the Torah!
However, it is clear as day to anyone who can perceive truth that the source of all suffering, including the dangers of war, is the outcome of the existence of that Zionist state, that is of no value or benefit either to G-d or to the Jewish People. On the contrary, that State is the cause of all suffering and destruction, uprooting of religion and the Torah. The Zionist government is the one who ignited the anger of the Arabs by provoking them in various ways, and were it not for the stubbornness of these wicked rulers there would not be the danger of war. Even now, if they were to give up their State and government, they would doubtless remove the anger of G-d from the Jewish People, and these dangers and deaths would not befall the Jewish People.
Every single moment that they hold on to their State and government they are reviling G-d in their violation of the Three Oaths through their provocation and rebellion against the Nations, which is prohibited by the Torah, and which brings about the severe punishment for violating the Oaths, as it is written in the Talmud in the tractate Ketuboth, p. 111: ... All the more by virtue of this wicked heretical regime that is bringing down the immeasurable anger of G-d against the Jewish People.
Even according to the natural order, were they to yield their government and Zionist State, there is no doubt that the United Nations could make arrangements to prevent war and bloodshed. How could anyone think that our holy Torah approves of shedding the blood of Jews because of this impure State? There is no doubt whatsoever that it is absolutely forbidden to shed the blood of a single Jewish soul to maintain the entire Zionist State.
However, most people err, and carry the vain belief and wanting to retain the State that is destroying the nature of the Jewish People. Thus, most Jews have fallen into heresy thereby. The view of our Torah has never changed, however, and rejects their State and government. Anyone who as much as believes that the State is necessary is accepting idolatry without a doubt, and such person considers Jewish blood to be valueless. This is totally in opposition to the teachings of our Torah that seeks to preserve life.

So is it that you believe the prophecies are now unfolding?
'For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water; because the comforter is far from me, even he that should refresh my soul; my children are desolate, because the enemy hath prevailed.'
Zion spreadeth forth her hands; there is none to comfort her; the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that they that are round about him should be his adversaries; Jerusalem is among them as one unclean.
'The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against His word; hear, I pray you, all ye peoples, and behold my pain: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.
I called for my lovers, but they deceived me; my priests and mine elders perished in the city, while they sought them food to refresh their souls.
Behold, O LORD, for I am in distress, mine inwards burn; my heart is turned within me, for I have grievously rebelled. Abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is the like of death.
They have heard that I sigh, there is none to comfort me; all mine enemies have heard of my trouble, and are glad, for Thou hast done it; Thou wilt bring the day that Thou hast proclaimed, and they shall be like unto me.
....
They sit upon the ground, and keep silence, the elders of the daughter of Zion; they have cast up dust upon their heads, they have girded themselves with sackcloth; the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.
...
The youth and the old man lie on the ground in the streets; my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; Thou hast slain them in the day of Thine anger; Thou hast slaughtered unsparingly
Israel's only purpose is to foment wars in the Muslim world;
as a result, its inevitable destruction was well-know ahead of time. In that sense, you're right. It's prophesied in Islam that truly religious Muslims, Christians, and Jews will fight together in the end times against a common enemy. Could Zionism be "it"?
Leadership is the most important aspect. As the old Arab proverb says:
"An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep."

If the question is their opposition to Israel, well there are plenty of Non-Muslim countries in the world which also oppose Israel's right to exist.
Yes, I wonder if this is true.
Actually isreal is there cos of the Holocaust and is now befreinded by the exact same Daily mail readers who hated them pre ww2 and who now hate muslims..
