Israel's obsession with Muslims

Islamic sources, mostly. With the Banu Qurayza being exterminated, it's hard to know what they called themselves. How do you know the hadith that refers to them is from a Jew? Seems unlikely to me.

Yet, I don't know if their Jewish name survived at all, since history is, as you'll agree, written by the victor.

N'est-ce pas?

In that case, there is nothing to be discussed. I have looked at the Isalmic sources and as a ghareeb hadith they are insufficient evidence of any Jewish tribe by that name, especially since there are no independent non-Islamic sources of that tribe.

He is a racist and biased Diamond, dont expect a straight and honest or simply logical answer. You won't get one. Per his mentality language is vulgar just because majority of muslims speak it. I bet he doesn't even know the meaning of vulgar but just for the sake of hate he said it.

Def of Vulgar language: http://onlinedictionary.datasegment.com/word/vulgar+language

Yes, I know this. I wanted for him to prove to me with evidence why urdu, dari, pashto, and farsi are vulgar languages. Being as I can speak two of the languages mentioned, it would make for a very interesting conversation.

He seems to have completely ignored my question. In the end, I must agree with you, when caught with tough questions it is very easy for people to simply ignore them.

This seems to be the defining feature of these forums.

Why would there be, after they were wiped from the face of the earth? Which society of islamic thinkers rejects this story?

Thats like Christian politics rejecting evolution when the Pope declares it is true.

It was my sabbath.

That consistently holds true for those who display a lack of honorable personable convictions. Those people who are enlightened enough to be in the habit of examining their own beliefs and prejudices show us that tough questions can often stimulate honest and worthwhile thought and discussion.

"[Dodging tough questions] seems to be the defining feature of these forums."

I'm not so sure: I've watched you and others tackle tough questions here. I think that evasiveness is not a hallmark of this forum, but instead an indicator of particular world views that are (for all practical purposes) ignorant.

Well, then answer them already? Is it still your sabbath right now?

Agreed, but seems that good and honest people are harder to come by as time goes on.

Indeed, we do have some exceptions, like yourself. I am honored to speak to you in these forum as always. Your knowledge of Middle Eastern politics and Arab lifestyle is unusually high for an American.

However, many people on this forum do not share your honesty and courage, and this is at the least, one of the worst things about these forums, and at the most, and indicator of the prevalent ignorance in our world today.

Hey, DH: do many people on this forum want to behead apostates, like you do? Because that's also a bad indicator. :D

Actually your comment was

Thats like Christian politics rejecting evolution when the Pope declares it is true.

So Christians are blowing people up for believing in evolution?? And raping and burning their kids? Wow. Those religious schools must be tough places.

They are on a mission from God, didn't you hear George Bush? The raping and pillaging [and cannibalism] is du jour for the Crusades.

They're doing this to force them not to believe in evolution? And I thought Palin was a hard case.
