It's worth bearing in mind that the most populous Muslim nation is Indonesia, which, by and large, does not routinely have "daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide". Nor does it "drive out the infidels". It's a fairly modern democratic state.

It should be noted that the blog entry in the topic post is just spam. That is, according to The Nation, some dude named Ian wrote it. According to SodaHead, it was authored by someone named Dan or Dana. Frontpage attributes it directly to Dr. Peter Hammond. The Boiling Springs Tea Party posted the article under the administrator's byline.

The original book from which these "facts" were extracted is published by Xulon Press, a Christian vanity publisher ("the Christian book, self-publishing company").

Dr. Peter Hammond himself holds a doctorate of "missiology" and an honorary doctorate of divinity. His life's work is converting people in third-world countries to Christianity. One of his favorite presentations is called "The End of Islam".

All things considered, the thread is hereby closed as spam, and redirected appropriately.
