Is the tragedy of man fear?

If no one feared for his life, it would be impossible to raise armies and cause mass destruction. If I don't fear getting shot by Hitler's SS, then why would I agree to shoot people in his army?
Some people harm people because they enjoy it.
A mugger may harm someone just to steal their nicer shoes.
People have harmed other people simply for feeling they were insulted.
Some people kill other people for not sharing the same belief in a sky-daddy.

IMO the tragedy of human is that we have this wonderful consciousness but one day we will cease to exist.
What a tragedy that is.

i will die on my feet rather than live on my knees i will not live with fear

Don't you think fear is necessary.

You have certain conditions to your reality, these involve

1.Fear

2.Responsibility

And these things intertwine together.
With your responsibility goes your fear. With your fear goes your responsibility. I do not mean to scare you. I mean only to say that you are projecting this into your reality, or it is a projection of yourself however you'd view this.

There are many reasons for a responsible decision.
The question is how somebody goes about making a responsible choice or what is the truth of such questions about how someone would go about failing to make a responsible decision.

Because it's healthy to enjoy violence?

The Tragedy of man is greed- our inability to be content with what we have and our inability to act together for the greater good.
