Increase in Personal Insults

I would welcome Admin comment here too.

I have noticed over the past 12 months or so an increase in the amount of personal insults towards fellow members. Are you childish enough that you have to throw your teddy bear in the corner when someone has the temerity to disagree with you?

Are you childish enough to resort to gender insults just because a person in a free debate, has the nerve to challenge your so obviously superior brain by daring to suggest you may possibly be mistaken?

You are very brave when you hiding behind your monitor, your eyes on the world. I suggest you walk into certain clubs in birmingham UK or Harlem, NY, or pubs in Liverpool, and comment of the lack of sense contained within!

I have just read a post that refers to "wops" and "frogs" in the same sentence. This is reference Zidane and an Italian footballer. Are you so sanctemonious that you call someone a racist in one sentence then do it your self in another?

Being a member of such a large debating society should, by acceptance of that state, be aware of and agree with the rules of that debating society. If you do not like being disagreed with, can I respectfully suggest you start your own forum and leave it at a membership of ONE.

I am neither racist not politically correct, I call a "spade a spade"; an english expression of saying what you see. I am a devoted hater of political correctness and always will be, and I tell it like it is, usung good language and bad, like 99% of us in here BUT I recognise the right of the individual to challenge an opinion and debate it accordingly without resort to slagging off ladies, calling parts of their anatomy "smelly" try talking in an adult and sensible manner. If you cannot - piss off - OK?
 
uh... you too it seems... are -- shouldn't it be 'is'? you too it seems is. guess not -- are, uh, being just as "invigorating" and, uh, "heated"... as, uh, they are. in between the lines i'm reading lots and lots of politically incorrect, uh... piss.

can't teach old dogs new tricks, and all that.
 
Me too? Explain? The final sentence was deliberate and essentially provocative but not meant in the context of calling an individual names. Live and let live, talk and debate, is it so hard?

I made a thread about this a few months ago. All I got was unintelligent responses.

Your efforts are admirable, but not much is gonna happen because of your thread.

In the spirit in which I read your two posts here, I believe you neglected to add several exclamation points after the question mark, and to put it in all caps.

Soooo... you're coming off as a grouchy schoolmaster commanding me to explain. EXPLAIN?!!!

That's not the way to my sensitive heart. I want diplomacy in these matters, sir. Cool cosmopolitan suaveness. Tough.

INSULTS are part of the free world....

let us, simply develop our personal responses to these insults.

i.e... dont be weak.. and small...

if you cant take it... dont dish it out.

its that simple.
