And yet it has been proven to shape the universe we inhabit, from planetary/moon orbital parameters, to galactic formation.Gravity makes the minutist difference to anything .

While you play in the graveyard trying to resurrect the long dead and defunct electric/plasma nonsense.
Yet that's what we observe. So it is not only possible, but the present validated scenario. Not possible .
Oh wait...I get it! More talking out of your arse? Not possible .

.
Not to pluto and charon relationship .
Gravity has only shaped our thinking , not the Universe .
More unfounded and unsupported claims by the forum troll.
Gravity not only explains the Pluto/Charon relationship and gravitational interactions, it explains the whole shaping and galactic formation of the universe as a whole.
It's not essentially your ignorance at fault river, its your refusal to learn to alleviate that ignorance, and simply indulge in unsupported denial and trolling.
Do you have any link supporting your claim river/ Or is this more lying and trolling?Your wrong of course .

extract:
Formation[edit]
Simulation work published in 2005 by Robin Canup suggested that Charon could have been formed by a collision around 4.5 billion years ago, much like Earth and the Moon. In this model, a large Kuiper belt object struck Pluto at high velocity, destroying itself and blasting off much of Pluto's outer mantle, and Charon coalesced from the debris.[31] However, such an impact should result in an icier Charon and rockier Pluto than scientists have found. It is now thought that Pluto and Charon might have been two bodies that collided before going into orbit about each other. The collision would have been violent enough to boil off volatile ices like methane (CH
4) but not violent enough to have destroyed either body. The very similar density of Pluto and Charon implies that the parent bodies were not fully differentiated when the impact occurred.[11]
Charon and Pluto orbit each other every 6.387 days. The two objects are gravitationally locked to one another, so each gravitationally locked to one another, so each keeps the same face towards the other. This is a case of mutual tidal locking, as compared to that of the Earth and the Moon, where the Moon always shows the same face to Earth, but not vice versa. The average distance between Charon and Pluto is 19,570 kilometres (12,160 mi). The discovery of Charon allowed astronomers to calculate accurately the mass of the Plutonian system, and mutual occultations revealed their sizes. However, neither indicated the two bodies' individual masses, which could only be estimated, until the discovery of Pluto's outer moons in late 2005. Details in the orbits of the outer moons revealed that Charon has approximately 12% of the mass of Pluto.

[1]You are wrong. [2] You do not understand in the slightest. [3] You indulge in trolling and lying. [4] You obviously have a severe psychotic disorder.Your point pad .
It appeared at the same time as Earth, according to science. To Issac Asimov it is simply not possible .
The Earth simply does not have the mass to capture the moon .
So why is the Moon orbiting the Earth ? ( and the moon does not rotate around its own axis ) . Hence why we see only one side of the Moon's surface , All the time . We never see the Dark Side of the moon , ever .

The post of course if you were capable of understanding, explains the gravitational interactions with regards to Pluto and Charon, and their mutual synchronous orbital relationship.
The beauty of it being that all is explained by Newtonian mechanics and no need for GR.
Just checking, in case you thought it was the Death StarGo on .

Not quite. The best theory so far is that the Moon formed from a collision of a Mars size planetary body called Theia, not long after the Earth formed, thus much of the Earth was still partly molten. It appeared at the same time as Earth, according to science.
Matter would be the same age.Not quite. The best theory so far is that the Moon formed from a collision of a Mars size planetary body called Theia, not long after the Earth formed, thus much of the Earth was still partly molten.
The debris that resulted from this collision coalesced over time to form the Moon.
The Moon when first formed was much closer to the Earth and the Earth also was rotating on its axis a lot faster and days were shorter. Over time and through validated tidal gravitational interactions, the Moon has gradually increased its orbital distance, and Earth has slowed somewhat in its rotational rate.
This will continue until in a couple of billion years time, the Moon will be double its distance, and a day on Earth will be equal to a lunar month. The Earth will have one side facing the Moon, just as the Moon now has one side facing the Earth. This is called a captured geosynchronous orbit and is evident in other Planetary/moon systems, notable Pluto/Charon.
I 'll get back to you with a link as to those facts, and am also considering starting a thread on the Earth/Moon system in the sciences, away from river's nonsense.
Let me give you some advice and always ask river for references on whatever he may claim. At this time after a couple of PMs from other members, I realize that arguing with river, is dragging me down to his ignorant level. So if anymore facts on the Earth/Moon system is required, I'll get a thread started in the sciences either today or tomorrow.
