Hillary Clinton's "Obliterate Iran" Statement.

...Still going to vote McCain, after all I want someone in the office who actually understands that the government works for the people, not nanny's them.
Glad to learn that. I do not want there to be any argument among historians as to which party caused the collapse of the dollar and the quickly following “world's worst” depression. - It was the Republicans under GWB that made it inevitable with needless wars and an economic policy that lowered Joe American’s purchasing power while boosting that of the rich (moving 2 billion dollars/ per day out of US now!) etc.

Historians don’t always get the story correct. Keeping the white house in republican hands will help them not get confused.

You mean how people confuse the Clintonian era of economic prosperity as work he did, when it began before he was even elected hit full swing a few days after the election. the man hadn;t even been sword into office and he got credit.

However our weakening dollar has nothing to do with either party. It has to do with a combination of greedy bankers who gave subprime loans and rapid ecologists who will do anything to stop further domestic oil production. Other contributing factors are NAFTA and other free trade agreements. It's not Government that created the mess so much as greedy businessmen and holier-than-thou ecologist. .

That one bullshit misquote is getting more ornate every year.

In Iran we are not dealing with "a man". It's not a dictatorship.

That wasn't a misquote. A misquote would be if he never said it, but he has and has repeated it often.

Hitler was popularly ellected as well.

About as much as W "earned" with his playground swaggering, would be my guess. If he's paying any attention at all - he's got his own political troubles coming up. His supporters, btw, have picked up Hillary's quote and are broadcasting a carefully edited version of it all over the Middle East - they're leaving out the "If Iran nukes Israel", and emphasizing the "we will obliterate Iran" part. That kind of stuff helps AJ's chances and boosts his status - he campaigns as a hardliner, the guy the fearful should turn to when enemies threaten.

Hell, considering the man has probably been modifying the statements of everyone he can get a tape of this makes little difference. Anything can be taken out of context. And it is easier to create propaganda when you control the only media your people are allowed to view, like the Iranian President does.

Fucking embarrassing, this shit. This is the Presidency of the United States, and we can't find an adult (outside of Obama, maybe) who can win an election for the job?

Obama, an adult? No clinically insane maybe. We have tried diplomacy with the middle east for centuries. We need to tkae a page out of Jefferson's book. Draw a line in the sand and utterly destroy any who cross it. Yeah, it's kind of playground psychology, but it works well enough with blustering bullies.

Check out his lobbyist backing. He knows for whom he's going to be working - and it isn't "the people".

You could say the same of any candidate actually. So I go with record and McCain's is much better thant Clinton's who is much much better than Obama.

the only candidate out of the three which can move politics to a healthier realm is obama either maccain or hillary would in all honesty be a continuion of the same bullshit political discourse this country has seen in the past 20 years

Obama is all hype, no action and his voting record is decidedly ultra leftwing. Basically the Democrat Reagan and I think we already have had enough of that kind of damage.

How is it a threat? Don't attack Israel in a nuclear "fashion" :)rolleyes:), and all's well.

Iran has nuclear weapons? That's news to me. So, the reverse holds true as well, right? Don't attack Iran in a nuclear fashion, and all's well.

She just meant she wanted their geography books changed. Regime change. You know how these things go.

Regime Change =/= Obliterate Iran.

HA!Delusions are at best part of the pathethic bullshit that spews from the mouths of you bitching and whining Ultra cons who suffer from extreme anger because your party is dying in politics, the world hates you, your alone and sitting on an island spittiong delusions of Obama being a muslim and having gay sex and all these absurd claims no one but your own kind believes. The nerve!

Republicans will never get in office.Mccain cant even talk fast enough to attract a massive support of individuals,Snore bores dont win.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised John McCain gets as much support as he does. Actually, I'm surprised that John McCain is still alive, but that's another story.

I'm hoping for the same thing, man. I just don't want another one million Black votes to be destroyed, like in 2000.

Oh no Garys Mayor just released a statement stating the reason its taken so long is because the turnout was so freaking high and he said the turnout for Obama was so ridiculously huge it very well could take him to the win.If he does not he still demolished her.The superdelegates have aleady printed out there endorsements for Obama.

First of all I am a Moderate who votes for the better more qualified candidate as long as i think they can do the job.

Second McCain said we would have a US presence in Irawq for a hundred years. Not that we would be at war. Or didn;t you know we have military bases in Japan, South korea, and Germany and are very closely allied with those nations.

Third, I do agree ultra-cons are despicable, same with ultra-dems. of which it is very clear you are the latter. I think the party system is fine, just the fanstics need to go.

Actually I don't think Obama is a muslim, or has gay sex. I find him quite charming, but completely lacking in experience and quite frankly policy. He talks a good game, but that is it. All style no substance. If he was running for a job on a talk show, then he'd be qualified.

his record in the illanois state senate paints a far different picture

Every single factor there can be traced directly back to a Republican Congress in the 90s, and a Republican executive since 2000.

He never said it. Not even once.

McCain is much more flagrant and much more tied in than Obama, and significantly more than Clinton, to the worst of the influences.

So when it doesn't work, as it hasn't in many years of dealing with Iran now, isn't it time to rethink the "blustering bully" evaluation ?

You are going to vote for McCain to avoid the next Reagan !?

I blame the media. And the high schools.

So you voted for Gore and Kerry over W in the last two nationals ?

Iran has nuclear weapons? That's news to me.

Then there's no problem! Problem solved.

So, the reverse holds true as well, right? Don't attack Iran in a nuclear fashion, and all's well.

Perfect!

Except, of course, the other way round is a thousand times more likely.

Regime Change =/= Obliterate Iran.

Sure it does. That kind of gaffe happens all the time. Why, I remember it happening just a little while ago.

It's hard to tell when you are joking, sometimes.

Do you actually believe that a first strike nuke is a thousand times more likely to come from Iran, than from Israel or the US ?

So you are convinced that the US preemptive strike policy, codified in the more recent military rules of engagement, doesn't really mean what it says - they're just kidding, in the US Defense Department ?
