Your wrong . Duration has nothing to do with time .
Good luck with that.

No luck needed . I understand the difference between the two .
What???Mass evolves to space!
Duration is time. 1 year of duration is the time it takes the Earth to make a complete lap around the Sun. That is 1 duration of time. 1 century of duration is the time it takes for the Earth to make 100 laps around the Sun. That is 1 duration of time.
1 century is a duration of time.
1 second is a duration of time.
1 week is a duration of time.
1 hour is a duration of time.
The time it takes to run 100 meters is a duration of time.
The time it takes for light to travel 1 meter is a duration of time.
Yes it is, with a clock. A clock measures duration. It is 1 hour of duration from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. That is 1 hour of duration. 3:00 PM is a POINT IN TIME, and it has no duration. 4:00 PM is a point in time, and has no duration. Between those 2 points in time is 1 hour of duration.
What???
Mass evolves into space???
Exactly (or Readers Digest version) would it accomplish such a feat?

Since mass came from space - should that not be devolves?Yes, mass evolves to space
Should heat not be energy ?until there is nothing left but heat
Reference pleaseThere will eventually be no remains of that water, not even the hydrogen. It will all turn into dark matter, which turns into even darker matter, which turns into even darker matter, which at some point can just be considered "space
Ahaha. "darker matter"It will all turn into dark matter, which turns into even darker matter, which turns into even darker matter, which at some point can just be considered "space", because there will be no measurable mass left...

It is a form of energy: specifically the energy transferred from one body to another due to a difference in temperature. To produce heat requires energy, but heat is not energy.
No more than a kilometer is a totally different thing than a furlong, or a fathom, all being units of distance. The amount of HEAT the unit produces is measured in BTU's, which is something totally different.
??? Mass and space are distinct things. Mass will evolve to smaller forms of mass or to energy (e.g. light), not space.Yes, mass evolves to space.
That's not correct. Basically the heat death is when the universe reaches a thermodynamic equilibrium, and so there is no heat - as everything will be at the same temperature, thus no heat (heat is energy that is transferred due to a difference in temperature).Heat death. All objects are being destroyed and turned into smaller objects, which turn into smaller objects, until there is nothing left but heat, which dissipates into space.
Unfortunately this is nonsense. I know this is the pseudoscience forum but, still, please have some respect for science.Very similar to putting a bucket of water outside in the heat and watching it evaporate into nothing left but the bucket. The water mass is being broken down into smaller particles, and being destroyed. There will eventually be no remains of that water, not even the hydrogen. It will all turn into dark matter, which turns into even darker matter, which turns into even darker matter, which at some point can just be considered "space", because there will be no measurable mass left, it will just be volume, which is 3 dimensional distance. The universe is "evaporating" into space. The mass is turning into space. Mass evolves (changes) to space. Mass evolves to space!
Um. No. The Sun and planets formed at the same time, from the same gas cloud. The Sun broke down into a smaller sun, and planets around it.
Ah, this is a wind-up, right? You're taking the piss, right? It partially "evaporated" into what it is today, a remains of the Sun with the broken particles orbiting it. The solar system isn't being created, the Sun is being destroyed into smaller particles, which we call planets.
He absolutely is..

The BTU (British Thermal Unit) is simply the heat required to raise one pound of water by one degree F. It has an equivalence in joules (c.1,055), and the SI units for both heat and other forms of energy is the joule.

While dark energy and dark matter can be thought of as intrinsic properties of spacetime, mass is not. They are distinct phenomena. Mass does not "evolve to space".

Matter will either have converted to other forms of energy (e.g. light) or simply become particles that no longer impact other particles, (due to being so spread out owing to the constant expansion of the universe).
Another phrase for it is "the Big Freeze", for that reason (no heat).

Do not feed the trolls. They don't care if you explain till you're blue, or if you criticize them or disagree with them or call them names.
Their entire goal is just to keep you engaging with them as long as they can. The only antidote is the ignore button.
Aye. Some I'm happy to feed, as they give good entertainment value. This one, though, is rather boring.Do not feed the trolls. They don't care if you explain till you're blue, or if you criticize them or disagree with them or call them names.
