Everything we perceive is in the past due to finite speed of light

In the central observer's frame, there's only one light sphere. The observers moving to the left and right would be seen moving to the left and right of the light sphere's center, respectively. Note that the central observer could synchronize a bunch of clocks and place them around the surface of this sphere, so they all get hit at the same time. From the other two observers' points of view, these clocks would all give the same time readout when they're hit, but they'd get hit at different times- in the other two observers' frames, the central observers' clocks are no longer synchronized.

Each of the two "moving" observers will also see a light sphere centered around themselves; the observer moving to the right sees the other two observers moving towards the left edge of the sphere. The observer moving to the right sees the other moving to the right edge of the sphere. It all comes down to synchronization being a relative concept just like time and distance intervals.

I think you may find answers to these questions in my answers to the others, as they're related questions.

I know. But I want to pin it all down to one place to avoid possibility of errors/misunderstandings on my part when searching through other posts of your which are loaded with connotations depending on the tension/interplay which you and MD were bringing to the answers to each other there.

I would appreciate it greatly if you could make and relate your specific answer to the specific remaining questions? Thanks!

Edit://Motor Daddy, can you also give me your answer to each of my naive questions in post #81? I want to make comparisons of logic and physics and theoretical assumptions etc which you and CptBork bring to this issue of lightsphere behaviour etc. Much appreciated if you would. Thanks!

No problem. Man cannot live by science/politics/religion discourse alone, hey!

PS: addition of some green leafed vegetable would go a long way towards proper metabolizing and avoiding cholesterol/acis problems in the Liver and bloodstream which may raise blood pressure and subconscious 'angst' because of internal chemical imbalance/tension in the brain/body. Proper balanced nutrition is important. Eat properly, everyone!

They are NOT "velocity detectors" they are TIME DETECTORS!

You're dead fucking wrong. If I use a Michelson interferometer, I can compare the difference between the effective velocities of light moving towards x and z without knowing anything about the travel time.

But let's humour you. Let's suppose I place clocks at x and z, use standardized metre sticks to measure the relevant lengths, and use the result to calculate my velocity through "space". Would that be acceptable to you?

Wouldn't this 'observational construct' require/assume some sort of a-priori theoretical assumptions then used to 'interpret' the 'fringes' result as a 'speed difference' rather than a 'path length difference' in the two 'legs'?

Does this mean you can use MMX to detect the earth's rotational sagnac?

Show me.

Oh oh, it's "Ham and Cheese Sandwich" preparation break, not a ploy - maybe it is cooling down.
And, by the way, is it true that previous foes have been so intellectually weak that they have had to resort to "banning" instead of owning up to their inferiority to Motor Daddy?
Let's see how this goes after sustenance.

Give me a f'n break! I've been on this f'n machine for hours! You really are the dumbest moron on earth, aren't you? Go back to sleep!

And, by the way, is it true that previous foes have been so intellectually weak that they have had to resort to "banning" instead of owning up to their inferiority to Motor Daddy?

Yes!

Damn that was good. Ham and Pepper Jack all toasted on a hard roll with ketchup! Awesome! Now to wash it down with my (untold how many) vodka and grapefruit! :D

Come on, Mr. Motor Daddy, I stated it was not a ploy on your part to need to eat - i even mentioned that it seemed to be cooling down!
And no, I am not "the dumbest moron on earth", you are more than welcome to that title if you want it.
And by the way, do you honestly think people go to sleep simply because you ignore them?

Yes, as long as they are accurate in such a fashion that the radius of the light sphere is the length of the path ct according to the clocks at z and x locations located at the center of each wall, and that all detectors are in agreement with each other when the calculations are performed. Otherwise they are inaccurate! The light sphere NEVER LIES!

Exactly in what coordinate system are you claiming this light sphere of radius ct exists?

WOOOOOOO, WOOOOOOOOOO, WOAH!!!

Mr. Motor Daddy, I am sorry. I did not realize that you mental abilities/inabilities were fueled by Vodka.
I am truly sorry that you must suffer the affects of alcohol, and I in NO WAY WHATSOEVER WISH TO BE AN ENABLER. I will leave.
Once again, I am Truly sorry,.....I did not know, honestly.
I only hope that you will forgive me,..........I really had no idea of you malady!

You probably could do that if Motor Daddy's reasoning were correct.

Stop running.

You brought up MMX.

Now, please explain how MMX detects the earth's rotational sagnac since GPS proves that exists.

Remember, GPS is in the coordinate system ECEF and so is MMX.

T=0 the light is emitted from a point in space location (0,0,0). The radius is ct in all directions. The location (0,0,0) is ALWAYS the center of the light sphere!

Well then I guess you've only got one step left to topple the Theory of Relativity. You present a simple scheme of measuring one's own supposed velocity through "space". Schemes like this have been attempted for over 100 years, even before Relativity was first published. Can you present a single example of a well-known experiment in which this was done and a non-zero velocity was measured?
