Parts of Australia appear to be going through a second phase of covid19...So much so, that lockdown and the wearing of masks has become a requirement now in Victoria.......
And out of the woodwork comes Idiots like this stupid sheila [who goes by the name of Karen]who flaunted her stupidity at a Bunnings Hardware store and a Post Office, by refusing to wear a mask, claiming human rights of all things and then ranting and raving about conventions etc..
If any good has come out of this silly woman's action, it is the great restraint shown by the staff and Police.

A woman who posted a video of herself breaching coronavirus restrictions has been arrested by police, who broke her car window after she refused to cooperate for a second time.

Eve Black, 28, from Warrandyte, was arrested following a vehicle intercept on Princes Street in Carlton about 2pm on Wednesday.

A police spokesman said Ms Black was asked for her name and address, her licence and an explanation for why she was travelling - all of which she refused to give.

"During the arrest, police were forced to break the woman’s car window as she refused to speak to them, wind down her window, or step out of the vehicle," the spokesman said.

"The woman has been released pending summons for traffic-related offences, failing to produce a licence, failing to produce name and address, and breaches of the Chief Health Officer’s directives."

Police pulled over Ms Black's car on Wednesday to speak with her about an incident last week, when she filmed herself refusing to comply with an officer at a checkpoint in Bunyip in Gippsland, south-east of Melbourne.

The video, which has now been taken down, shows Ms Black saying "Let's do it, let's take them down," as she drives towards the checkpoint.

She appears to read from a piece of paper as she refuses to open her window and demands repeatedly: "Have I committed a crime?". She then celebrates as the officer tells her to drive through the checkpoint.


The post drew a furious response from social media users, who accused the woman of acting dangerously.

Victorian Police Minister Lisa Neville lambasted the woman's actions last Friday.

"Let’s be incredibly clear, that footage shows an incredibly selfish person who deliberately attempted to cause issues for police," she said.

After my detection test and clearance, I was advised by my good Doctor to start wearing a mask anyway...which I have when shopping etc.The problem I find is that my glasses keep fogging up...anyone know any solution to avoid this or stop it from happening?

It could be that the mask is not fitted to your face properly or the gap at the top is too big.

It depends on the mask you are using to be honest. The little disposable ones? If it has the little clip/internal shaper thing on the bridge of the nose, make sure that is securely shaped to your face with no gaps.

If you can, depending on the mask you are using and if it is big enough and will not result in gaps at the bottom, you can pull it up a bit, secure it around the upper bridge of your nose, and then put your glasses on so that the bottom rim is resting on top of the mask and is pressing it down against your skin, reducing that gap there.

You can also buy light surgical tape from the chemist and use it across the top to ensure there are no gaps.

Thanks for that...will try the last tip first along with fitting my glasses over the mask.
The other point which I failed to mention, was that for whatever reason, I seem to labour when breathing with the mask, which probably adds to the problem. That has not nor will it stop me from adhering to the advice.

I also when I was working for ICI [now known as ORICA] had need to wear long distant breather apparatus....For whatever reason I was also having problems breathing with them, and on occasion would breath in the gas [Chlorine] which I was supposedly to be protected from.

there are anti fogging compounds you can apply to the glass
simply by having the top part of your mask sealed so your breath cant come up past your nose as Bells eludes to "fitting"
will make a difference

however, leaning forward slightly will fog them up as you breath
the only real alternative is to have a mouth area high flow mask
probably very expensive

alternatively
have you glasses positioned on your head and only lower them to read things for a moment
ensuring you have a flexible foam strap secured to something so they wont hit the ground if they fall off

In the bizarre footage, Nick Patterson tells the train station security officers “what you’re doing is evil” for enforcing the mandatory face mask rule.
