English Language

Fraggle: So do you a favor and stop with the peekaboo of coming here for a while and then dropping off on some long hiatus. (uhhmm....please?)
Sorry about that. But you gotta understand that there are people in places other than cyberspace who depend on me as well. Some times weeks go by and I just don't have time to log on.

Besides, "intermittent reinforcement" is the best way to train for loyalty. :)
Considering how old you are here's hoping you did not take 'he knows his shit' as juvenile though it was.
You're only old if you act old. I went to the Filter, Joan Osborne, and Shakira concerts and I drive a Porsche 928.
All in all, you do know your shit and it is appreciated so..like, whatever.
I'm happy to take that as a compliment. I don't speak "dude" fluently but I can understand it. :)

Something I may have missed (in implication or not) in previous posts but did not find mentioned is that English, for one, is a "living" language. Even though many may resist change and prefer to rely on their mastery as a display of their "knowledge", words become proper through popular use. And so we have the language we use today. Without the change it becomes a dead language.

All languages are living organisms.

I've got the perfect thread in mind-

All you have to do is focus mostly on Mephura and the Marquis' posts (along with Gendanken's when she is not being silly).
