Those questions are exactly why I posted the links. If I thought posts counts were what mattered, then I would have posted post counts.

Why don't you like mods doing more than one forum? Do you think Tristan is doing a bad job? Or do you think this is a "give everyone a go" kindergarten game?
I'm not sure what you mean by "a feeling of apathy and indifference" about(Q). You seem to think that the Astronomy forum requires heavy-handed moderation. Why?

Are you thinking that sargentlard's votes will be added to "None of the Above"?
 
I think to requires some moderation, but Q might not be able to provide that.

Actually that post said vote for sargentlard, but sense he drop out I had to change it to another candidate.

And no “none of the above” is not in the lead.

I tired of people thinking that only I wanted a mod for that sub-forum, there was a poll done to see if anyone wanted a mod elected for that sub-forum and it resulted in a large majority saying yes.

I was equating "I don't want to vote" with "None of the above". It seems I was mistaken. Oh well. None of the above is still creeping up. :D

A majority but not a quorum. 50 votes to call a quorum, isn't it?
 
I'm sure he did. I've nothing against the election. I'm just mentioning the quorum situation. It really has nothing to do with anything except you saying that it was the vote that inspired the election. I don't suppose a quorum is absolutely necessary in all cases. Wasn't in this case... ;)

I would take Ilikesalt over Q any day. I get the feeling of apathy and indifference from him, sure a corrupt moderator is bad, but one that doesn't give dam is worse.

I think to requires some moderation, but Q might not be able to provide that.

I wonder how much Fetus's disavowal of your election helped you in the long run? Fetus might be like the Klan. If the KKK throws their support behind any candidate, it only hurts that candidate. And if they denounce a candidate it can only hope. Good old reverse psychology. :D
