eco-anxiety

Lol. More anti-science propaganda. Some folks never learn.

The above linked seemed a tad to biased.
ergo the question
and
Researchers coined the term “eco-anxiety” to describe chronic or severe anxiety related to humans' relationship with the environment. In 2017, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) described eco-anxiety as “a chronic fear of environmental doom.”Dec 19, 2019

ok
It seems that the anxiety condition is real

one wonders
who would be most likely to suffer from this syndrome?

From the link, please take notice, Sculptor:

"Getting educated
Getting accurate information about the environment can empower communities and help them feel prepared and resilient if a crisis occurs.
Relying on inaccurate information or having a lack of information can make it hard to understand and process abstract problems such as climate change.
People may therefore find relief in educating themselves on environmental issues using trustworthy, credible information."

"Eco-anxiety” is now a popular term. It is being increasingly used in the media to describe an anxiety condition resulting from the fears about the coming environmental destruction
Yep. See above. Education replaces irrational fear with sure knowledge.

and when people who were happily ignorant suddenly find out that their world is "doomed" due to human inaction and conflicting belief systems start to develop justifiable anxiety about their children's future get labelled as irrational?
Education replaces irrational fear with sure knowledge.
Education diminishes, placates the irrational ... sure but the R.O.O.T. fear of Running Out Of Time ( anxiety ) still remains.

"So I asked my clinical Eco-anxiety psychological counselor what her prediction was for humanities future due to climate change. Her response was that there was no future" -irony

and, now
the question:
Is this so biased as to be worthless?
I would like to ask the author what his thoughts are on what happens when you increase the temperature of 75% of the globes surface ( oceans) by 0.5 deg. C (?) and how the resultant increase in evaporation rates impacts on our climate future.
Or does he dispute the reality of oceanic temperature rises?

At the moment it isn't so much a matter of causation of climate change, as IMO, it is way too late to do anything about it ( due in part to the typical denial expressed by the author) but more about the acceptance of what is actually happening out there and taking steps to adapt and mitigate.

None of the media I follow have used it even once. This thread is my first encounter with it. What media are you talking about, and why are you bothering with them?

There's a syndrome for everyone.

There's one for those in denial of physical fact that conflicts with ideological premise and personal assumption. Any idea which side of the US climate change "debate" we would find most of its victims?
