Draqon, do you know who that is ? :D

groooosssssss

Well, I hope I look that good when I'm 60! But I wouldn't go out in public like that. Then again, I'm not a Diva Star like Cher, bless her heart! I truly always thought she was just a joke! The joke is on me!

That's that billionaire's wife who's had 10,000 plastic surgeries to make herself look like a CAT!!! Tell, you what, if MY husband had $4billion I'd do a whole lot better than that. I might even look like Cher! LOL :D

my gf claims to hate cher. the dark lady song terrified her as a child. i can see why, and kids are funny creatures.

i kinda like the song, but i'm only including the link for the .5% of people i think might be interested AND enjoy watching it. and i like appearing benevolent in my gratuitous dispensing of links. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnYAkvCpom0

just while we're on bizarre ladies from before my time, i liked some of grace jones' music too. and she was in conan the destroyer, i enjoyed that movie. of course its a piece of shit though.

You want scary ?

Yoiks !

Jeeesus a "swing" version of Young Americans?
Aaaaargh!

Aaaah!
I hate you for merely posting that!
OMG endless streams of drunken women staggering round the dance floor in alcohol-fuelled "synchrony".
And insisting that any guy within arm's length should get up and engage in the same brain addled exercise.
Fuck that: two more pints and then I'm going to have to remove my spleen with a nail file: it's got to be more entertaining.

Sing it with me Oli.. Sing it loud and proud..

Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, shake the tree,
Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, grind coffee,
To the left, to the right, jump up and down and to the knees,
Come and dance every night, sing with the hula melody.

I met a hula mistress somewhere in Waikiki,
Well, she was selling pineapple, playing ukulele,
And when I went to the girl, "Come on and teach me to sway,"
She laughed and whispered to me, "Yes, come tonight to the bay."

The lovely beach, in the sky the moon of Kauai,
Around calypso sarong we'll all be singing this song.

Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, shake the tree,
Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, grind coffee,
To the left, to the right, jump up and down and to the knees,
Come and dance every night, sing with the hula melody.

Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineap...

I sense a sudden disturbance in the force..
It is as though a billion voices just screamed out in horror..

Moi? Je prefere:
Sous le dôme épais, où le blanc jasmin
À la rose s’assemble
Sur la rive en fleurs, riant au matin
Viens, descendons ensemble.
Ah, si belle...

Doucement glissons de son flot charmant
Suivons le courant fuyant
Dans l’onde frémissante
D’une main nonchalante

I love that piece.:)

Equal first on my all-time top ten.
I couldn't live without it.

I must admit my ultimate favourite is 'Adagio in G Minor' (Tomaso Albinoni). What I think is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever to grace the ears of mankind. I find it haunting and captivating.

'Canon in D Major' (Pachelbel) is a close second.:)

Er, Troy: Sinead O'Connor?
Not quite as classical as your ultimate...

Pfft..

Kosciuzko ... and.. Dreamworld by Midnight Oil.

:D

And Straight Lines by Silverchair of course. Anything by Bernard Fanning..

I could go on and on.:)
