Foundations are not the same as fundamental principles. This your translator I think.
The foundation is Genesis, if we did not have that, then the three main religions it supports, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, would not have those beliefs.
We STILL could have imagined a powerful god made the earth and cosmos and invented other religions though.
I will grant that.

Science explains life on earth and the cosmos and it bears no resemblance whatsoever to any of the creation myths.
We are finding out information about our universe every day, how stars form and collapse, galaxies evolve, how AGNs influence their evolution, how planets accrete, radiation and gravity waves penetrate every corner of the Universe.

Дэйв, я не знаю что вы подразумеваете под интуицией, но для тех, кто ей действительно обладает, это вполне себе физические ощущения, а не просто красивая поэтическая аллегория.

Thus, "Civilization" and "Unity" ("unities") are His. The equal but opposite "Wild," the "Wilderness," the "Savage," the raw, alien, harsh and forbidding, and all too necessary, expansive frontier "Divisions" of Life and Space Ages, for very important and imperative reasons, are Hers . . . are Mother Nature's (a God designed kind of wonderful ('Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass') antimatter (Hers) to (His) matter).

No, religion has told you 2000 years ago the ignorance, myths and superstitions of those who lived in that time. For some reason, you believe it to be the truth.
