Yes, in the same way I also believe in the absence of fairies, unicorns and pixie dust. Of course, so many facts tend to make the Bible (the book you've never read) little more than a book of myths and superstitions. Right from the very first page, we are introduced to a plethora of make believe.

Нет, Мартин. Как раз таки атеисты и есть главные лжецы (а ты знал, что дьявол переводится, как "лжец", "клеветник"?). Агностики хотя бы честно признаются, что они не знают, и поэтому ничего не отрицают, но и ничему не верят без доказательств. А атеисты просто отрицают, ничего не зная наверняка. Верующие же честно говорят: мы верим.

Вот к атеистам и есть вопросы: почему они отрицают, ничего не зная наверняка? Для этого должна быть причина. Единороги, пыльца Фей, и пр. - не в счёт. Вы и их отсутствие не можете доказать тоже со 100% уверенностью. Для этого вам нужно побывать в каждом уголке Вселенной, и убедиться, что где-нибудь на розовой планете, не пасётся мирно на голубой траве, замечательный розовый единорог. Вселенная, знаете ли Мартин, не ограничивается вашим диваном, и поскольку она бесконечна, в ней может существовать всё что угодно.

Olga, it behooves you to avoid using the word "know" since you do not use it correctly.

You say "I know God exists", when what you really mean is"I have faith that God exists."

Until you let go of that particular dishonesty, this is not a good faith discussion.

How exactly do you know? How do you know in a way that is distinct from belief?

Which of the five senses did you use to glean direct evidence of god from the external world? (Feeling it in your heart is not a sense by whch one can experience the external world.)

And is it in a way you can reveal him to the rest of us?
