Dept. of Gov. Efficiency

Yes. I know that your line of taunting isn't relevant and that you are just pouring gas on a fire rather than adding anything useful to this forum.
My first post in this thread was addressing the nonsensicality of your suggestion that anyone was thinking about banning roads. That's relevant.

You responding by whining dogs and bicycles is not relevant.

This is surreal. The US is already pretty lax with respect to safety standards, from automobiles to "foods" we ingest. Tangentially, but not unrelated, very few countries pretty much just hand you a driver's license when you turn 16. Turning what is essentially a deadly weapon already into a more literal, and likely, death trap is beyond idiocy.
The only reason they have cars is because you can't drive an assault rifle! ;)

Your hate speech is not relevant and yet it goes on.

No one is suggesting that we have no government and therefore bringing roads and basic infrastructure up continually is disingenuous.

Show me the "hate speech". If you're going to make such an accusation, you need to support it.

I can provide literally dozens of examples of your overt racism, and a fair number of examples of your misogyny. I can also provide clear consensus from about two dozen posters on this forum that your posting was overtly racist, as to why you're still here is anyone's guess? And don't ask--I won't provide this for you, as I've already done so several times. But if other posters would like to see the well-documented evidence for such...

Please do not troll.

Everything you utter is based on hate.

Here's the most recent instances to start:
Or maybe the DN was always just referring to a subset and never about "race"? Chris Rock has a routine where he talks about "I love black folks but I really hate Nig%ers".
Yes, I'm not implying that no one was/is racist. I just think that most aren't and most comments relate to behavior rather than skin color. Some however, are racist.

And a couple more:
No, you linked to comments as if I did as well. DN is obviously a slur. "Most people" don't use DN and for those that do most are probably referring to behavior and not skin color which is why I referenced the Chris Rock routine.
I didn't make a "claim" but the slur may be about a sub-set behavior and not necessarily about the race (skin color).

In other words the one doing the slurring is slurring inner-city criminal behavior and not his black next-door neighbor. I'm not condoning the behavior or choice of words but they may not be referring to the whole race. What do you think?
Fuck. It's looking more like dozens plural. This could take a while.

Then there's this little gem:
Trump wasn't convicted of "rape". If what he did would be called "rape" in some other jurisdiction, that's kind of beside the point as well. Maybe an unwanted kiss is called "rape" somewhere but so what? Trump was convicted of doing more than that but he wasn't convicted of putting his "member" in her.
...
When you have people who know each other, are probably drunk and heavy handed "groping" goes on, it is the crime of inappropriate sexual conduct or whatever the specific wording is. It's not really accurate or appropriate or even a strong argument to keep labeling him as a rapist in every argument as to why he wasn't a good choice, IMO.

You are pretty much the embodiment of what people mean when they describe a person as "creepy".

You do like to project don't you?

This site could use a tavern forum, or similar - a venue for these personal brawls, so the topical threads can focus on, say, economics and politics.

In any case, no one wants to miss the thrills and chills of...Bribe Week!

The president pardoned Rod Blagojevich, former governor who served eight years in prison for corruption, and his DOJ suspended its prosecution of Mayor Eric Adams for allegedly soliciting bribes from Turkey, despite extremely compelling evidence. Trump fired the director of the Office of Government Ethics, the chief official making sure government employees comply with ethics requirements, including those concerning conflicts of interest. And he directed the Justice Department to cease enforcing the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which prevents American businesses from bribing foreign officials. And this is only Tuesday.

Go, Overton Window!

Or just get rid of the guy who seems wholly incapable of posting on-topic--there are Seattle's most "relevant" contributions to this thread, the rest are just personal insults:
Who are we kidding, is Trump (or anyone else) trying to eliminate roads?
Your definition of "subsidies" is "government". No one is arguing for no government. How many times does this need to be repeated?
If strawmen, non-sequiturs and outright lies can in any way be construed as relevant to the topic.

Musk already causing deaths...

Let's be clear: it was not that USAID was shut down, but rather the abrupt manner, which didn't give time for alternative.options to be found in the short term.
Unfortunately it will likely (at best) be ignored by the majority due to being an overseas patient.

Expect more stories of this nature.

And in other news: it seems that 5 of the Inspectors General that were fired had c.17 open investigations against Musk and his companies.

Yeah, no corruption to see here. These aren't the corrupt ****s you're looking for. Move along. Move along.

Moderator note: Seattle has been warned for trolling.

If you are going to accuse another member of posting hate speech, be aware that such accusations are serious matters. You must be prepared to document your accusation appropriately.

If hate speech is actually happening, then the offending person will be officially warned and/or banned.

Accusing somebody of hate speech while refusing to provide any evidence of it is just trolling - most likely, your aim is to try to provoke an angry reaction from the target of the accusation.

If you see actual hate speech on sciforums, please hit the "report" button on the offending post(s) and let a moderator handle it.

My... intense dislike for roughly half of Americans is probably pretty apparent, but the thing is it is normal--for Americans. We are inculcated with vile, odious and nonsensical bullshit pretty much from birth. From the Horatio Alger "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" garbage to the depraved idiocy of Manifest Destiny, we were brought up to be entitled, elitist, selfish pricks. There's not even any sort of noblesse oblige corollary in American discourse: we owe nothing to anybody but ourselves. And even when you consider some of the more decent aspects of American culture, like the inscription on the plaque on the Statue of Liberty, "Give me your tired..."--that was written by Emma Lazarus, a Jewish lady, hardly a real American (especially in the Bible Belt). Pretty much anything good comes from outliers and outsiders.

In short, Americans think nothing of exterminating a race of people in order to build golf courses. It's entirely normal.

That’s criticism of the way Americans are brought up, by an American. It expresses “intense dislike” for half his compatriots, with reasons given. I can’t see how self-criticism constitutes hate speech, myself.
