Hell, I think it's great.
Solves a problem I may be facing not that far down the road.
Now, if I can find a DOS program that does the same thing since
my old 486 has some files on it that I'd just as soon have wiped if
I'm no longer around.
Got to maintain the image, you know.
And protect the living too, for that matter.

Now if I was a naughty Hacker pro, which I most definitely am not.
I could rewire that to work on the basis of "In the event that your door is forced, and Federal officers storm the building, or you wake up to interpol flashing an ID card in your face asking you about that dreadful worm that hit the net last week, the pure shear terror and realisation that your internet activities are about to be severed is enough to run a batch process on a hidden server unknown to the world....
The batch could run an E-mail message to all press rep's of the world, world leaders, even the all the mothers of the federal agents from that list you "aquired" last week.
Not only that but all your hardcore storage could be shreaded, or even encrypted until you feel the sensation of "Release", and get all your kit back, without touching it (for 6 months)"
Okay.... that was meant as fiction... too much playing Uplink...
There was also a version I thought of, but it was to be fitted to UN INSPECTORS, so they could walk around and not get kidnapped, because in the event they are kidnapped a bunch of missles are launched right at their location. Kind of keep the peace... well pieces...
