Hi River,
Can you perhaps put the theory in your words and show how it has influence upon the Red Square Nebula. I am not trying to discredit the man or his idea I unfortunately dont understand what he is really trying to say. Probably me and thats why I would appreciate you explaining the idea and seeing the Red Square Nebula can be used onCE i understand I can consider other nebula and see if we find similar.
Alex

David changes the magnetic field emitters in the labratory to manipulate the plasma . and his camera .

Which exposes the Red Square Nebula form , in the lab .

Inotherwords while plasma is the essence of the Nebula , it is the magnetic field bowl shaped emitters that forms the Nebula .

Di-electric is a non-conductor of electricity .

So really his theory is based on magnetic fields . and on what they effect .

Thanks River.
I cant figure the bowl emitter.
I best study the red square neb from my astronomy sources so I know what is known about that neb.
Thanks for your reply.

Your welcome

Actually BOWLS rather than the bowl , there are two bowls . which are magnetic field emitters .

What Nebula ?
The one I have been talking about... The Red Square Nebula.
I see no bowls in the Red Square Nebula.
Its shape does not seem tobe related in any way whatsoever to magnetism so I really dont know what David is trying to suggest.

Look in the center of the Nebula .

And then compare this with lab. experiment .

Explanation: What could cause a nebula to appear square? No one is quite sure. The hot star system known as MWC 922, however, appears to be embedded in a nebula with just such a shape. The featured imagecombines infrared exposures from the Hale Telescope on Mt. Palomar in California, and the Keck-2 Telescope on Mauna Kea in Hawaii. A leading progenitor hypothesis for the square nebula is that the centralstar or stars somehow expelled cones of gas during a late developmental stage. For MWC 922, these cones happen to incorporate nearly right angles and be visible from the sides. Supporting evidence for the conehypothesis includes radial spokes in the image that might run along the cone walls. Researchers speculate that the cones viewed from another angle would appear similar to the gigantic rings of supernova 1987A, possibly indicating that a star in MWC 922 might one day itself explode in a similar supernova.

Also worth noting the Hexagon at the Northern polar regions of Saturn.... :)

Thanks Paddoboy but I have already been through all that.
You need to try and build a 3d view of these things. Its sheer size suggests to me magnetism probably can not be a relevent force even if we find these mysterious bowls.

NO

More proof of Davids idea of magnetic field arrangement . it is eight sided .

Of course you would know this if you had watched his video.

Time to snozze.

Enjoy .

I do think the photo of the neb shows something strange in the optics and I say this because of the extreme diffraction spikes shown in stars in the frame, and if you look at the central region of the neb one wonders if the photo is realistic.
I would like to see a photo with no diffraction spikes and I bet it will not look as square for a start.
Nevertheless I see no reason to suggest magnetism the shape is no doubt entirely due to gravity.
Anyways I see no bowls. How big are they?
The spot in the center is a star do bowls sit on it?

Sorry, when was this ever not explained?
This is simply a sinusoidal wind pattern seen as a polar projection.

Take a sine wave, wrap it into a circle.
Poof, you get a closed, regular shape.

Like this.
I have done absolutely nothing to this sine wave except transpose it to polar coordinates:

That is a standing wave pattern, of course. Are global sinusoidal standing waves a known feature of planetary atmospheric systems?

No what? I'm simply suggesting that at times we observe apparently unusual geometric structures in space. Whether that is a result of magnetic fields or sinusoidal wind pattern, the fact remains the overall structure of the Universe and galaxies within, are primarily a result of gravity.
More proof of Davids idea of magnetic field arrangement . it is eight sided ...Oh and NO.
six sided, eight sided, or twelve sided, so?
Of course you would know this if you had watched his video.
Like I said, I watched around 10 minutes, but when totally unknown turkey's, start making silly unsupported, unevidenced assumptions so early on, the signs of a quack/nut soon becomes evident.

Again, I must ask....who the f&*$ is this bloke David DuPont? What are his credentials? What expertise does he have?
I mean if you were told you had brain cancer, would you go to the local haberdashery for treatment? These are genuine questions river.
David seems to be spreading his version of his Gospel via u tube and on Facebook.
Science is not conducted in this way....and then you have the audacity to ask why I do not watch his hour long video? :)
Like I said before, I did read Lerner's book "The BB Never Happened" which of course was totally derided for the nonsense it was. This David turkey seems to be pushing similar and I neither have the time nor the inclination to read anymore Easter Bunny stories.

from the video:
photon is concentration of energy, made up of many concentrations of energy, which are made of many concentrations of energy.....
Translation:
The Primer Field "Theory" is a bunch of nonsense, which is made of nonsense and supported by nonsense.
