Don't need to start a thread, it's a moot point based on your faith in the bible. What bible was that exactly and who exactly were the eyewitnesses?

In which language/alphabet did these scribes record these eyewitness accounts? The oldest written form of Hebrew dates back to about 1000 BC. Even by the silly claims of the young earth fundies, the Earth was created 3000 years or so before that.
The theory of biblical inerrancy is a falsifiable theory in the sense that one single error invalidates the theory. The bible contains not just one, but a large number of errors, making this fundy claptrap just that. Claptrap.
For the sake of argument, let us assume that the theory of evolution has been falsified (which it has not). How would this falsification of evolution validate the fundy beliefs, since these beliefs have already been invalidated elsewhere? Proving evolution to be false might raise the claims of the flying spaghetti monster, but not the fundy christian god.

The only specious things about evolution are the retarded straw men (e.g., "goo morped into you") and red herrings (e.g., "airplane wing designs") you fundies put up in a vain attempt to defeat it.
