Annette Funicello (sp?), a Mouseketeer. Seriously?
I guess my sarcasm was over your head. You’re no different than this MR character…… I’ll be more careful next time. It's said that some gullible folks would believe anything. Darby O'Gill is laughing at you.
Too much garbage here. The sarcasm was missed. Pardon moi.I guess my sarcasm was over your head. You’re no different than this MR character…… I’ll be more careful next time.
If all the swans we encounter are white, the ornithologists dig deeper and study the the genome and coding for feather coloration (building the philosopher WV Quine's "web of belief") and possible adaptive disadvantages to any color mutation. At some point, they settle on a taxonomic description of swans, or polar bears, which all began with an inductive data set on white coloration and pretty long necks.
And no one said they could. The broader point I was making was that some negatives can be proved. No need to repeat all those examples, is there? Popper's black swan example was to point out that induction has its limits. But used prudently and within certain domains it works fine. Take a swig from that new milk bottle - tastes fine, and I conclude the bottle is not sour. We accept the very low probability that a sour pocket is neatly sequestered near the bottom due to an anomalous lapse in Brownian motion. We don't have to drink the whole bottle for inference to the best explanation.Nothing is certain. Not even the most thorough of ornithologists can rule out a sudden unexpected mutation.
Most ghost images turn out to be reflections, optical or digital artifacts, hoaxes, pranks, overwritten file bleed, perspectival misinterpreting or pareidolia.
It's funny how you believe that something is ghostly, alienly or some other nonsense simply because you believe it can't be explained. How could you possibly know that? I myself, who actually searches the web for such photos and videos, have found many that can't be debunked. So far I have posted several of them here and have yet to have them explained away. The thing about it is every year we seem to be getting more and more of these probably due to everyone carrying cellphone cameras. And that suggests to me a real phenomenon going on.
It's listed as a symptom in the DSM.It's funny how you believe that something is ghostly, alienly or some other nonsense simply because you believe it can't be explained.
Because of confirmation bias. You are only interested in the articles that promulgate the idea that these things are unexplained and unexplainable. You don't read stuff where they do explain them, or can explain them - you dismiss those outright. How could you possibly know that? I myself, who actually searches the web for such photos and videos, have found many that can't be debunked.
You don't read stuff where they do explain them, or can explain them - you dismiss those out
Which would be less than zero given that there are no real ghost photos. Do you actually read what you type or are you channeling one of the Elder Gods?Actually I do read some cases that turned out to be explainable. But those tend to drop off in popularity over time because they're not as amazing as the real ghost photos.
Light can be reflected or absorbed when it encounters a material, depending on the material's properties and the type of light. Do ghosts possess material properties such that they can reflect light and be photographed? Or, do ghosts generate their own energy and emit light so they can be photographed?... the real ghost photos.
Too much garbage here. The sarcasm was missed. Pardon moi.
Sure appears that way but you probably know by now that appearances can be deceiving.LOL The trolls are attacking each other now. Where's my popcorn?
