I unfortunately ran out of money while doing this...and no they did not issue me an epi-pen, although I don't quite have anaphylaxis...so that may be why.
In fact I may try again as I have word of a clinic that lets you shoot up serum at home.
Probably best to keep a bottle of children's benadryl handy.
If I had a really bad reaction, I could keep chugging shots.
Oh my... chimp, let an allergist administer the shots. They have to monitor you for 30 minutes after you get the shot before releasing after a treatment. You can also react within 24 hours after getting a shot and this is what the epi pen is for (because if your airway closes due to alergic reaction inflamation you will die). Something is seriously fishy about a clinic that would not require you to have an epi pen or inject yourself from home.
