I don't know anyone who is blind so I can't ask them. Do the blind dream in color? If they only dream in black/white/grey, well, aren't those colors? Maybe the dreams are sounds only??
you can only dream of that which you have experienced. someone who has been blind since birth can dream of anything s/he has experienced with the 4 other senses.
I dream of things that have never happened, of things that don't exist. Could they dream of colors that we don't think exist?
the thoughts which dreams are made of are like the words you read here. they can create a story that has never happened, but they can't tell anything unless you understand the language... likewise, you have to understand the language of observation in order to dream about anything visual. those who are blind since birth can't dream of colors. not even black, just nothing. at least that's what i've heard. but i've heard that some who have been blind since birth have been able to see when they've had an out of body experience. also colors that we normally can't see.
Yes, the experiences of those blind from birth is some of the most compelling evidence of life after death.
No, but people blind from birth have been brought back from the dead with accurate reports of being able to see while their bodies were lifeless.
There used to be an excellent and very long documentary on Google video, but I'm afraid its been removed in the past few months. This however is the best site for summarizing all the scientific evidence: http://www.near-death.com/experiences/evidence03.html
