Everyone has preferences, even I do, but I would not say [for example] I would sooner be attracted to a dog than to a Caucasian.
 
Instead of quoting those unnecessarily large pictures, I will simply just say this. I am not SEXUALLY attracted to black or asian men just as I am not SEXUALLY attracted to dogs! I can find a black or asian man PHYSICALLY attractive, but not SEXUALLY because it does not stimulate me. For the 4th time today, there is a difference between being sexually and being physically attracted to someone or something.

I agree. I'm sexually attracted to tall broad shouldered men. Hispanic and Asian men usually don't fall into those categories, so I'm not attracted to them.
I love love blue eyes. Hispanic, Asian, and black men usually don't have them.
 
You're defining sexual attraction in ethnic terms. If a person met all your criteria but was black or asian, you wouldn't find them attractive, well that makes you singularly unattractive yourself. I'm also a picky person, but I go by individual traits rather than skin colour or ethnicity.

I'd hazard a guess that just because gays in the midwest don't like homophobia does not transform them into liberals.

And didn't you like that dude from House of Flying Daggers (Takeshi Kaneshiro) and that other dude from Tom Cruise's samurai movie (the Japanese dude, I forgot his name.. Watanabe...something) :confused:

I understand exactly what it is you are saying, SAM. I am just attracted to white men. In agreement with Orleander, I too find traits that I am attracted to. I can tell you this much... I am not attracted to black men for many reasons; shape of the lips, eyes, hair, and yes, skin tone. I don't hate them for being who they are, I'm just not sexually attracted to them. I find pale skin attractive. It's what "turns me on". Find me a black man with white skin and he wouldn't be black now would he (with exception to Michael Jackson)? It's not racist. It's simply a personal preference. But it's not ALL about skin tone as I said. Black men and asian men have different physical features that white men do not have. It just so happens that I am sexually attracted to the features of white men and not black or asian.

And you straights have a lot to learn. Being gay or straight does not determine what is "perfection" as a whole. It is up to the individual.

True, but just because I like brown eyes for instance, I wouldn't automatically scratch all others off my list. Also, I have met many people who I like better after I get to know them. I think people who are attracted to others only because of physical traits will find themselves disappointed by their choices somewhere along the way. What a person is, is more important than what he looks like. Thats my own experience.
 
But if you are sexually attracted to a person and get to know them, isn't that easier than meeting a person and then hoping you find them sexually attractive eventually

Seems to me its a lot better to keep your options open rather than allow yourself to be limited by what you think appeals to you. Self delusion is a common human weakness, we generally confuse attraction for compatibility. :p
 
Yes, but its not necessarily related to finding someone physically appealing at first sight. Most of those are washouts.
