Wow, this is a first, two teams from the same conference. #1 LSU (13-0) vs #2 Alabama (11-1).

The first LSU-Alabma this year was supposed to be the "Game of the Century", but it was the kickers that took all the glory, with LSU scoring the game-winning field goal in overtime.

WHO'S EXCITED!

Predictions?

I am with the Crimson Tide (because I'm an Alabama fan, that's why!)

Even though I swear that Tyrann Mathieu is the new Woodson.

It also means that SEC will win its sixth (I think) consecutive BCS National Championship, and prove to all the remaining haters that the SEC is the best conference in college football PERIOD.

Excited? Not me because I don't enjoy a defensive game where only a few points are scored. This will be another slow paced, boring game between to very defensive types of schools. I'm not very interested in seeing this "rematch" because there are a few other teams that could make it more interesting with more offensive action.:(

I have to agree with Cosmic on this..

It promises to be another slow paced, low scoring game. zzzzzzz.

I'm not saying both teams aren't deserving of the National Championship, but, I'd rather see Oklahoma State against one of these teams.

I'm looking forward to the other BCS bowl games more than this match-up. Just my opinion though...

LSU and Alabama have powerful offenses, only against other schools, because they have such a powerful defense.

LSU won the last one only because of its kicker and punter, Alabama got a lot better, am I'm pretty sure the coaches now put more emphasis on special teams.

I love to watch a defensive game with teams with strong offenses.

Remember Auburn vs Oregon, two high-speed power offenses, but it was more entertaining because the defenses stepped up!

LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE DEFENSE!

And nothing more

I'll be watching the game because it's an opportunity to drink.

Lol, remember only to cheer when Alabama scores! (Or when Mathieus makes a good play)

bullshit they are the most over rated conference in college football period. in the past when to teams with the top ranked played they never got to play but naturally for the SEC they do. the SEC doesn't play anybody hell alabama got romped on by georgia southern and FCS team.

Haha, yeah right dude its just one game, I admit it was fuckin brutal, Alabama should've destroyed them, but again its just one game. Those who played the game would understand, if you don't want it badly enough and underestimate your opponent and generally not care, you'll lose. I've been on both sides, with my school being one of the best in the division and my rep team one of the worst. Sometimes it just comes down to who wants it more.

In the past, highlight that, and btw SEC plays more people because they play at such a high pace, football is tiring if you actually give it your all, and you always want a fresh lineup.

SEC is the best not just because they got the speed, but they also got the money, the fan base and the championships. Its important cuz the top recruits would prefer the SEC over most other schools.

The only conferences that can match up with the SEC are probably Pac-12 and Big-10.

I don't generally follow college sports, but how is Saban good at recruiting skilled players when he's apparently a hard guy to like?
