In reply to Alerya...Welcome! I like at least one of your book choices (Fahrenheit 451). It likely has the BEST opening line ever..."it was a pleasure to burn".
(I am so old I remember when this book was new, and was very controversial at the time...it was actually "banned" from the library at my grade school in Dearborn, Mi.)
