I'm surprised that no one has made a thread about this yet-
So, does this new album in any way was Alanis' 'hands clean' from her last album? I'm listening to it right now, and I find it quite mature, quite submissive.
If anyone else here has 'Under Rug Swept' please tell what you think of it. I think Alanis Morrisette is interestinng because her ups and down in success really reflect life- if you become a part of pop culture by being alternative, do you then have to push yourself farther 'out there' to refulfill yourself? I think her new album is quite pleasant, quite insightful, and just good. Just resting, in a sense.
Thoughts are welcome-
