Yes, you put them there, segregation, apartheid. The Jews lived in ghettos too, and the Irish. What is your point?
How are the Jews and Irish doing today?

Stop trying to give us all your personality. I'm not racist, havent you read my posts? We always disagree on this issue. I believe there are different breeds of human, and it has nothing to do with how they look. You know what I mean, because you are in alliance with the black and asians racists.

Not everyone follows your religion. Not everyone is racist or even believes in race. Some people just see good and bad, right and wrong, and if you actually know the difference between right and wrong and it seems you don't, why don't you work with people who go after the bad guys? Criminals are in all races. Let me guess, you are white, you hate, you are a criminal, so you want to focus attention on the bad people in other groups to take attention from yourself? Is that it?

Like I always say, most people who will hurt you, look just like you do, because they can hide better if they look like you look.

You don't understand. The point you completely missed is that every human being is intrinsically racist. It's an instinct. It doesn't matter how much you say "I have a black friend" and all that other whiny crap you types come out with, the simple truth is that every human being on this planet is racist.

The only thing left to ask, then, is why?

What does least safe mean? What is the death rate, what is the quality of life, and what is the average lifespan?

Prove every human is like you. Not every human hates. Not every human loves. Not every human believes in race.
Saying every human is racist is equal to saying every human is gay, or every human is straight, or that every human is a dominant or submissive.

Racists are in a category of their own. They are your kind of human. Racism is a religion, a belief, a meme, to say it's suddenly a genetic trait is ridiculous. You have no knowledge of memetics, or of psychology. You could have said every human has a preference for certain kinds of women, or men, but this has nothing to do with skin because seriously, is skin really that sexy? Are you saying a woman's skin is the most attractive part of her?

To answer your question, since you seem to honestly not know why people are racist. It's memetics. here is a URL, read it and comment on it

http://pespmc1.vub.ac.be/MEMES.html

A meme, is a mind virus. You can infect a human mind, with mere words, and this virus once it infects the mind, can change the character, and eventually the genetic code of man. Basically, racism is thought control. Racists don't even know why they are racist anymore, and women who have eating disorders don't really know why they have eating disorders.

I'd like to help, but I cannot help a person who is racist and proud of it, and who wants to become more racist. If you'd like to become less racist, then I can help.

If there is a racist gene, it's in all of our gene pool, accross races, but this does not mean the racist or hate gene is activated or expressed in all individuals. It's simply a gene in our gene pool. Just like all the others, all of us share a gene pool, and that includes the ability to be racist. Not all of us have this trait as dominant, and the gene is not equally popular among all families, but yes words can alter the genetic code as I hope I have proved.

Racism, is trying to convince people that we are all the same.

rac‧ism  /ˈreɪsɪzəm/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[rey-siz-uhm] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

The first explorers in East Africa wrote that they were shocked by the nudity, paganism, cannibalism, and poverty of the natives. Some claimed Blacks had the nature "of wild animals... most of them go naked... the child does not know his father, and they eat people." Another claimed they had a natural sense of rhythm so that if a Black "were to fall from heaven to earth he would beat time as he goes down." A few even wrote books and made paintings of Africans with over-sized sex organs. Sound familiar? All just a reflection of racism? Maybe so, but these examples are not from 19th Century European colonialists or KKK hate literature. They come from the Muslim Arabs who first entered Black Africa over 1,200 years ago (in the 700s), as detailed in Bernard Lewis's 1990 book, Race and Slavery in the Middle East.

Several hundred years later, European explorers had the same impressions. They wrote that Africans seemed to have a very low intelligence and few words to express complex thoughts. They praised some tribes for making fine pottery, forging iron, carving wooden art, and making musical instruments. But more often, they were shocked by the near nakedness of the people, their poor sanitary habits, simple houses, and small villages. They found no wheels for making pots, grinding corn, or for transport, no farm animals, no writing, no money, and no numbering systems.

The Whites who explored China were just as racist as those who explored Africa, but their descriptions were different from what they and the Arabs had written about Africans. In 1275 Marco Polo arrived in China from his native Italy to open trade with the Mongol Empire. He found that the Chinese had well built roads, bridges, cities connected by canals, census takers, markets, standardized weights and measures, and not only coins, but paper money as well. Even a postal system was in existence. All of these made him marvel when he compared the Chinese to what he saw in Europe and the Middle East. Even though he was an Italian, proud of his people and well aware of the greatness of Ancient Rome, Marco Polo wrote: "Surely there is no more intelligentrace on earth than the Chinese."

Historical research bears out Marco Polo's impressions. As early as 360 B.C., the Chinese used the cross bow and changed the face of warfare. Around 200-100 B.C., the Chinese used written exams to choose people for the civil service, two thousand years before Britain. The Chinese used printing about 800 A.D., some 600 years before Europe saw Gutenberg's first Bible. Paper money was used in China in 1300, but not in Europe until the 19th and 20th centuries. By 1050 Chinese chemists had made gunpowder, hand grenades, fire arrows, and rockets of oil and poison gas. By 1100, factories in China with 40,000 workers were making rockets. Flame throwers, guns, and cannons were used in China by the 13th century, about 100 years before Europe.

The Chinese used the magnetic compass as early as the 1st century. It is not found in European records until 1190. In 1422, seventy years before Columbus's three small ships crossed the Atlantic, the Chinese reached the east coast of Africa. They came in a great fleet of 65 ocean going ships filled with 27,000 soldiers and their horses, and a year's supply of grain, meat, and wine. With their gunpowder weapons, navigation, accurate maps and magnetic compasses, the Chinese could easily have gone around the tip of Africa and "discovered" Europe!

In the last five centuries, the European nations leapfrogged over the Chinese in science and technology. Since 1950, however, Japan has beaten the West in the production of many high-tech products. Other Pacific Rim countries (China, Taiwan, Singapore, and South Korea) now follow Japan's path. Africa, on the other hand, has fallen further behind. The poor conditions of African countries and Black America have become a concern to many. Much of the optimism of the U.S. Civil Rights movement of the 1960s is gone, along with the high hopes for independent African nations. Trillions of dollars of foreign aid have poured into Africa. Yet African economies have declined since the Europeans left.

Neglect and decay are seen everywhere in Africa and much of the West Indies. International corporations often have to provide their own power, their own water, and their own phones. In the age of computers, fax machines, and the world wide web, getting a dial tone in many African cities is difficult.

What is the problem with those things?
(Besides poor sanitation, of course...)

Well apart from the near nakedness (which you could attribute to the climate) the other things are fairly obvious signs of a lack of even the earliest and most basic tenets of civilisation.

The sheer amount of conquest of uncivilised peoples by civilised ones maybe?
The power of nuclear weapons?
Lifespans double that of primitive peoples?
Eradication of disease?
Landing on the moon versus wiping your ass with your hand?

Shall I go on mr. smartarse?

D'ster, you've already made it clear that you don't think much of civilization. As you sit there typing on your computer, in your nice warm waterproof house, with a grocery store nearby, in a vast region of human habitation that does not contain one lion or tiger, with a medicine cabinet stocked with the comforts of technology, prescribed by a university-trained physician, not having to hunt and gather your own food and live perpetually obsessed with survival, being able to read and write only because you attended a school and your language has an alphabet.

You're rather difficult to take seriously.

I think civilization is great, it is what I prefer. That is why I choose to live amongst whites.

It is just weird how many people blame the civilized for any problem of the uncivilized.

D'ster:

The next time you imply that black people as a group are uncivilised, you will be permanently banned from sciforums.
