I have always wondered what would happen with an ad campaign with no slogan or information.
Just pass out thousands of stickers and put up billboards, even radio and TV commercials with no information other than the URL.
Just:
SciForums.com
I wonder how many people would go to the sire out of sheer curiosity.
I know I would.
Someone once did an experiment near where I lived.
(don't know how wide spread it was)
It was a series of billboards.
There was no information on them at all.
Just curious art work.
Not even a product name or URL.
The only thing common to them was the style of the artwork and the words, "Open your mind".
There were dozens of them all around.
Every month or so they would all change to new curious art work.
Eventually, after about 6 or 7 months of this, they revealed what it was for.
They all changed to include the words, "Made you look. Didn't it?"
It was an AD for the advertizing company that owned the billboards.
I thought it was brilliant.
Anyway...
A slogan, huh?
