From what I've read and been told those who turn their back on Islam are to be put to death. This is confirmed by the words and deeds of Muhammad. http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/012-apostasy.htm
What's the matter? The truth too much for you? Did you read the whole thing? It's an education and a half.
Education? It's the equivalent of satanists picking all the bits out the bible that you wouldn't like highlighted and quoting it as gospel. The only way that's educational is that I learned people are stupid enough to believe it.
Point out ONE thing that is not correct. You can't. It's the most credible, reliable, up-to-date site.
D'accord. Exactly like the Evil Bible site. I concur. It's what I said. The truth about christianity: http://www.evilbible.com/ Typical quote: Death to unbelievers! Allahu Akbar! Oh wait, that's not Allah, that's YOUR god.
We're not talking about Christianity. We're talking about muslims. And why are you defending their killing traitors/non-believersPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image! There are thousands of stories on hundreds of sites. One of today's has a woman facing jail if she does not reconvert to Islam. Yep. We're talking about a religion and its intolerance of other religions. Look at this way: if true (and one of those links is about Al Quaeda - rabidly fundamentalist), maybe they're just more observant of their holy book than christians. After all christians tend to ignore the bits they don't want to believe...
It *does* depend on the nation that the Muslim is living in. If it is Saudi Arabia or Malaysia or any of the other theocracies, the penalty for apostacy can include death. Apostacy includes converting to atheism or any other religion. However, there are cases where the apostate was simply jailed or sent to reform camps. In other nations where Islam is present such as democracies like the U.S. or France, apostates aren't legally bound to adhere to their superstitions, but there is a surprising amount of idiocy that occurs when officials of these nations are slow to react to illegal actions such as spousal and child abuse related to Islamic beliefs. In some cases, apostates and converts are allowed to be kidnapped by family members and sent back to their oppressive theocracies for "reform" or punishment. Interestingly enough, this is exactly the type of theocratic, fundamentalist B.S. that some superstitious followers of Christianity would like to institute in the United States.
My good friend Reza said that if he told people in his home town in Iran that has was Atheist - there could be a good chance one of them would kill him. Then again, I wouldn't tell too many people in the South of the USA as the same fate may await an Atheist there too!
in Indonesia where moslem are majority, it does not applied. However, in Aceh, a special province in Indonesia where Islam rule is applied as law, it could be applied if someone openly do it. As far as I know, in Islam apostacy do not cause execution. However apostacy is counted as 1 of 5 unforgiveable sins. Means, moslems believe that when they do any kind of sin, it could be forgiven, but when they die in apostacy condition, there is no chance they be forgiven.
