Are you referring to his actual greatness, or was he great in particular for his views on metaphysics, aliens, magic, etc.?

I do hope you aren't actually dissing Giordano Bruno. He was famous for his relational memory system. His cosmology was centuries ahead of it's time and he even anticipated relativity in his writings. Newton was also an alchemist. What is your point?
