Lmao! I meant to post this in the “earth to excel thread”Doing what? Not telling you you've reached your mail limit...![]()
Well, it finally happened. I took time off for the holiday last week and didn’t check my email. (Unplugging is the best) So, this morning, I was informed by a coworker that my inbox is full.
I hope I didn’t miss any valuable messages from clients
It’s all resolved now, but I have been keeping up with cleaning out archived mail. *shrug*

hay mavis, dont let those hoominz IT people near our bananas, they cant find their own _ss with both hands if you paid them
Too bad we aren't coworkers, Rainbow. You'd be able to help me, then
And in trying to Google a remedy, is it me or do most suggestions seem totally useless? “Click settings then general then, deleted recovered items.” What? Lol None of these exist within my Outlook. I want a job in IT - like meteorologists, you have job security even when you’re constantly wrong and unhelpful.
Congrats!I did it!! I figured it out!! I couldn’t take it anymore and found a folder that held all of my Outlook syncs that have taken place. There were over 2000 items in this folder, so every time I sync send/receive, it would make a notation of it in that folder. Well, I emptied the folder and deleted the trash. And it has stopped. Not one more error message since.
We will see if it lasts, but if it does, I might apply for an IT job![]()
Thank youCongrats!

What does synchronizing folders mean in Outlook?
Synchronizing folders. ... “Synchronizing folders” is the generic term for when Outlook is sending and receiving messages and when (if your mail account type supports it) uploads changes to the mail server. Under certain circumstances this process can “hang” and indeed cause your computer to slow down quite a bit.Jan 19, 2016

Since they can't fix it I'd say you still could have a nice career as a IT tech.Checked my work email today and..... the warning is back.
My dreams of becoming an IT tech are dashed.
