Personally I don't seperate the two - psychological / physiological
The body needs air water food and a method of getting rid of any waste produced
The brain, a sub unit of the body, ditto. If those needs are met the brain is able to operate. Brain operation consists of chemical / electrical reactions which are called thoughts
While it is possible to detect and record the chemical / electrical operation of the brain and, in broad terms, show where sections of the brain specialise in particular task, we cannot tease out thoughts from the recordings
Since the brain is only a sub unit of my body I do not understand your seperation of the mind (not the brain) from the totality of ME
IF I like to be alone - with a crowd - middle of the ocean - middle of the desert - it is ME
It is not my physical body having its needs met with the mind (not the brain) signalling 'I want something else'
I come as a package of ONE
