Now, suddenly, all of the pictures I have ever posted on this site are missing. The links have all been broken. Every single one! Several years worth, in multiple threads. Other members pictures don't seem to be affected. This is extreme censorship. What the @#$%&* is going on?

Maybe the problem is with your photobucket account, or whatever you use.

Linking from photobucket. I have been doing it the same way for several years. Now almost every picture I have ever posted on this site is gone. I post a lot of charts and graphs to clarify technical points. All of my threads dating back several years are now ruined. As you can imagine, this is kind of a big deal to me.

No. That is not possible. And I am pretty sure you know that. I post on other sites and this is the only site that will suddenly no longer accept my photobucket links. What a sham this site is.

Maybe there's a bandwidth cap that your linking has reached, or something.
 
Can you calm own long enough to try to troubleshoot?

I asked a question. Have you been linking to your pics, or uploading them?

Are you in a position to know what happened and/or to fix the problem? If not, thanks for the help.

I will now wait for Plazma Inferno to address this outrage personally.

Can you answer his question, then?

I must admit I do not know how to do this. I can link by posting URLs of course, but this does not show the image, just the link. So how does one include an image in a post?
 
I just looked at the Etp model thread and it seems that my picture links have now been suddenly restored. :) This thread can now be closed. Thanks everyone.

Maybe it was deliberate censorship against you specifically, maybe not.

But when you find out what actually caused the temporary break in links, you might consider apologising to the site owner/admin team for considering this site a sham, for considering the issue "extreme censorship" and calling the episode an outrage?
Basically for your ridiculous overreaction.

Will you do that?

1. I will never find out what actually caused the break in my picture links.
2. I am not sorry that I think this site is a sham. I am entitled to my opinion.
3. You do not have the right to judge my reaction.

Re the emboldened point 3. He has every right to judge your reaction. Just as you have every right to behave in an immature and petulant manner.

clean your browser-- what you are experiencing is a common problem when your cache has a lot.
