then why hasn't he moderated the thread i mentioned?

also..my one day ban isn't the matter discussed here..at least not in the ban itself..but in the reasons of the ban, and how those reasons have extended to other posts and threads in forms other than one-day bans..

i can't figure out what your problem is. if the samples diamondhearts presented is typical then the "edits and deletions" are most probably valid.

I believe that the true issue here isn't just about theology. I don't think Skinwalker has ever deleted a post of mine because of the religious views I hold. The issue here is that Skinwalker seems to have something of a track record of disliking it when people disagree with him.

how is "disliking" something proof of bias scott?

this is not proof of bias of the mod team.

I believe that the 2 posts of mine that he deleted and warned me on are excellent examples. I firmly believe that he shouldn't be allowed to delete posts simply because someone says that they think that some moderators here don't properly understand the scientific method, for starters.

if you posted something like "i didn't understand the scientific method" in a forum i moderated i would demand proof from you for that statement.
when that proof wasn't forthcoming i would've permabanned your ass.
and add to that, where is the proof that skinwalker doesn't understand the scientific method?

when you follow up with infractions, deletions of the disliked party on one side and giving an open permit to trolling, flaming, etc to oneself and others who support the party line.

I've already given you a possible reason; that is, that he's currently maintaining a low profile. You didn't seem to go for this, so I elaborated as to why I felt so in post 185 in this thread. But regardless as to why he hasn't been heavy handed in that thread, it doesn't take away from the fact that he has been in many others, which is the point that scifes is trying to get across to you...

this doesn't mean that DH and scott and any others don't have the right to ask for their rights..and fight for them..it's just we do things differently..

Perhaps scifes didn't quite put it rightly, as it were. Perhaps what he meant to say is that he'd like to be treated fairly even if his beliefs differ from those of Skinwalker.

I admit that I haven't read much in the religion forum since Skinwalker deleted my 2 posts. So I can't really speak for scifes case. However, in my case, I believe that Skinwalker's deletions of my posts and warnings for them was completely unjustified and to date I haven't seen anyone even try to justify them.

i know that..it was the part sufficient to keep in mind whenever having a post deleted..the rules are there..mods can understand them as they want..they can only apply them in light of their personal knowledge..so you can't expect them to be perfect..AND they don't have to go by any rules if they don't want to..it's as i said the main part..the rest is given for you as a starting point to formulate your own understanding of the mods' standards..and watch your posts accordingly..

the missing part is..where are the site's owners??

i really wanna have a talk with them..(is it plazma inferno?)..only by going to them(as you have showed) can we solve a crucial problem like this..you don't put rules and give the mods enough freedom to render them useless..it's confusing to the mods to begin with..if they have a live conscience
so i think we should start with the rules..we should be civilized..

How does it say that? If Stryder or James wanted to delete it, they certainly could. The difference, in my view, is that James, Plazma and Stryder aren't so trigger happy when it comes to deleting posts. From what I understand, Skinwalker doesn't moderate here.
