The rules are either:

All vs All as one union (all of current Trek vs all of Current wars)

OR

All vs All acting as they would (much more Difficult because we dont' know who in SW would band together to fight)

We are assuming the Q are not involved for the sake of giving SW a bone.

We are assuming CURRENT TRENDS, with SW Movies as highest cannon - if anything in them contradicts books/magazines/plays/radiobroadcasts/whatever movie wins.

Going by that logic, continue, please.

And please, do note - Jedi really would not help SW all that much...

a powerfull jedi could easily take on the enterprise on his own thank u very much. using the force to dodge phasers and torpedo's and using the force to take out the warpcore if not detonating.

i mean't things like
1* u can't use darth vader and yoda because they are dead yet data can be used though.

2* u can't use a deathstar because they where destroyed. euh did anyone eveer mentioned that the emperor has the plans with him when ds2 is destroyed ??? i don't think so

3.when in gunfight a phasers leaves a spark and the foo dies. a blaster rifle leaves a spark and the ewok dies. so what's the differce????? Worf uses a bazooka type of weapon and you see some smoke when it hits the target. a AT-AT fires d you see a chunck of tree blown off so what's the difference????

see my point ? eveytime u see a blastershot it's clamed to be weak yet whenyou see phaser fight they are set at lowpower ??? yeah wright.

4.allso in this discution the empire can use his full force to fight because its universe vs universe. all vs all. so the empire would not need his forces to maintain order. they can use any one and any vessel in there universe

1.as far as i'm concerned Data is dead, but Vader has to be alive, as well as the Emperor, since otherwise there won't be an Empire, so it's best to set up the engagement in eighter EpIV or EpV. EpVI is not the best solution cause Ewoks wold be like a deus ex machina, wooping anyone's butt :p

2.see above... also noone questions the DSs, however only 1.5 were built. if we pit both sides against each other this would be the case. actually only 1 was ever active at the time. we can't resurect them.

3.the difference is, we've seen the phasers do alot more then blasters, but blasters always do sparks only. so the mater is clear on those.

4. on the defence yes, but on the offence? besides this limitation is only present in a UFP VS GE engagement. if you merge ST's Milky Way with GFFA you don't need this. but then again it's no contest. the gods in ST would win it all. no fun.

It is sad that the communications are knocked out, so that ISD probably have to abandon the search. Come on, they were in the asteroid field for days. I don't think they can afford to buy shields for millions of clone troopers when they have to buy ships and ammo, the Clone Wars is very economical. I am just making a guess that if droidieaks can use it, they can put it on a commando.

oh i agree compleatly, it's just there was this guy a while back that claimed the tower was untouched. funny business that...

They can build one can't they? After all they are hiding the stations in hyperspace, so UFP can't touch it.

but it won't be there when the war starts. it may take time to build it. in the start they'd be both blind as bats and without long range communications. they would be forced to limit their operations in few systems/sectors, not on a galactic level.

But it is a matter of destroying you foe before you get killed. You see if a there will be a war, it is much more possible that Star Wars will be the invader, because they have the speed to do it. Star Wars will just hide a battle station the size of DS2 and a fleet to preserve Star Wars, in hyperspace and wait the war out. It is like a better version of nuclear bunkers.

well that is certanly possible. cloaked planets, phasing tech, hyperspace hiding, could help both sides survive. even sleeper ships might help.

It appears that the thread is continuing for one reason only and my post was together advoided for only one reason only.

That is the continuation of a pointless thread without rules or speculations.

actually i have tried to define the rules of engagement several times, but i have bee mostly ignored by all.

yeah and in starwars you have female senators aswell and on both sides rebel and empire they have a lot of important jobs that are filled by other species. Lando is black and controls the mines. General ackbar is like a huge goldfish ffs.

in trek they allways favor the ships crew before anyone else. but offcourse they allways win so there's no fuss about it.

subspace weapons yeah that seems very moral. use a weapon you can't predict.

in war deserters allways get the bullit even in the usa. so whats different in SW as there is today??????

the truth would be UFP is mostly more moral then GE, but the rebel alliance is as moral as they get.

and what was the speed of that asteroid and the composition?????

btw ST doesn't handle coalision that good either. looking at picard ramming the scimitar. yet we see a SSD collide with the deathstar and the damage is minimal.

the collision velocity (the relative speeds of the tower and the asteroid) can be estimated. the composition is irrelevant, since we can always assume it is made of the hardest/densest natural non-exotic material .

a powerfull jedi could easily take on the enterprise on his own thank u very much. using the force to dodge phasers and torpedo's and using the force to take out the warpcore if not detonating.

now i apologize, but this is clearly wishful thinking as far as movie canon goes. the stories and the comics probably made the jedi uberpowerfull but the movies made them far less lethal. at least the bulk of them. the average jedi could not survive an attack by a well trained company of soldiers. when ambushed, jedi masters get killed by squads of soldiers.

They have been in there for days and days. What makes you think that asteroid just got a lucky shot while the other asteroids didn't?

Random occurences befall us all, Madara.
The point is that we can see through the dust cloud. The engines of the Executor (red glow) are clearly where the tower should be. Super imposed images verify this.

The Captain on the bridge quickly disappear, but also reacts.
The tower is struct.
There is an explosion
The captain reacts by throwing his hands up
His image disappears.

Movies are very simple. This line of imagery is used to enforce a perception that they (directors) did not want to constantly alude to in dialogue. That the asteroid field was dangerous.

PIETT: Our ships have sighted the Millennium Falcon, lord. But...it
has entered an asteroid field and we cannot risk...

VADER: (interrupting) Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I want
that ship and not excuses.

Asteroids collide, creating a fireworks display outside the
bridge window. Darth Vader stands, staring out the window
above the control deck. Then slowly turns toward the bridge.
Before him are the hologram images of twenty battleship
commanders. One of these images, the commander of a ship that
has just exploded, is fading away quickly
. Another image, in
the center and a little apart from the others, is faded and
continually disrupted by static. It is the image of Captain
Needa, commander of the Star Destroyer most hotly on the tail
of the Millennium Falcon. Admiral Piett and an aide stand
behind the Dark Lord.

NEEDA: (in hologram)...and that, Lord Vader, was the last time they
appeared in any of our scopes. Considering the amount of damage we've
sustained, they must have been destroyed.

Needa says, they must have been destroyed. That they've sustained a severe amount of damage. In other words this pursuit is costly, the commanders want to get they're ships out before they themselves. This is story-telling otherwise there is no point in this scene.

We can't be so desperate to prove our points that we abandon logic.

a powerfull jedi could easily take on the enterprise on his own thank u very much. using the force to dodge phasers and torpedo's and using the force to take out the warpcore if not detonating.

no, he couldn't.

You know why?

It's simple:

They'd beam his ass into the nearest high-density stellar object.

yeah and in starwars you have female senators aswell and on both sides rebel and empire they have a lot of important jobs that are filled by other species. Lando is black and controls the mines. General ackbar is like a huge goldfish ffs.

And your point is? It was a fucking imperial system witH SLAVES if you didn't notice

in trek they allways favor the ships crew before anyone else. but offcourse they allways win so there's no fuss about it.

What star trek are you watching? Janeway most CERTAINLY did not, nor did Sisko, NOR DID KIRK OR PICARD. So yeah, FAIL on your part.

subspace weapons yeah that seems very moral. use a weapon you can't predict.

Uhm... that's why they're BANNED... the Son'na were using them ILLEGALY.

in war deserters allways get the bullit even in the usa. so whats different in SW as there is today??????

Uhm... no... they get court martialled...

genesis project
doomsday device

Genesis project could be used again because the people working on it were Rescued and the data is safe in SF HQ...

The DDD can't be used unless you guys want to try bringing back Centerpoint or some other long-gone Wars superweapon, in which case we get to do the same...

A Borg Cube is super-massive but super-dense. It also has an Inertial Stabilizing field SO STRONG that smaller craft are buffeted as they enter it!

And hey, don't get pissy with me because SW cannon hates you.
