Rule 39 makes rule 42 invalid.
Rule 39 was edited after I made rule 42, which makes rule 39 invalid.

Rule 46: the adoption of silly rules for the club (hereinafter known as: "what club?") is a violation of all rules precedent to rule 46.
Which may in fact be rule 45, depending on whether that rule is itself a violation, or violates a previous violation, which would then negate the aforementioned violation.
This rule also brings some rules following rule 9 into question, which is itself a "silly rule", according to rule 46.
Violation of rule # 36 : all future rules must be formatted thusly....

rule # _________________________37:
Only women may post on odd numbered rules, and men on even. Violation of this rule carries with it the maximum penalty SciForums can impinge. I don't know what that is but perhaps it could involve Spud and a latex glove.
Fine, edited.
Now rule 39 is invalid![]()
Not according to rule 22 it isn't.
Rule 22
Any future rule which makes editing previous rules invalid is itself invalid.

Rules 1, 2, 3, 15, 16, 17, 22, 30, 35, 36, 37, 39 are invalid by violation of rule 0.
Now you are being silly.
Though making a rule 0 is not a bad idea.![]()
Rule 0
Base rule: No rule besides rule 0 may be edited, and no rule can be made that precedes rule 0.
all future rules must be formatted thusly....

Violation of rule # 36 :
Invalid ruling Sir!
The application of rule 0 must have to run after the rule was written, rule 36 must be obeyed if rules up to and including rule 0 are to be followed. Ergo, rule 0 is null and void.
Rule 0 was the 50th rule made, despite it's numerical nomenclature, and was described as the basic ruling, not the first rule of Rule Club. But thank you for humouring me since I was indeed correct. Now, where were we?
