That change is happening, whether you think so or not.
Nope, but neither were the ME burning Jews then.
Exactly, so the tolerance has been overshadowed by oppression and suppression by leaders supported by the West, not eliminated by the people themselves.

On 3 February 2007 Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah admitted for the first time that the Government of Iran assists Hezbollah with "money, weapons, and training, motivated by a religious fraternity and ethnic solidarity. And the help is funneled through Syria, and everybody knows it."

Which change? What? Who? Sam, you're a scientist: specify. What are you talking about?
Nope, they were just quietly and carefully confining them, opening up the respect of their personal rights and 'protection' ('dhimmitude') to any interested party for exploitation and the like, forcing conversions here and there, as was done for every other religious minority, and which continues today. I imagine there were a few burnings; sort of up to the individual imagination of any interested (and muslim, which is to say societally superior) party.
My point was sarcastic. In the face of the evidence, I can only assume yours was too.
hype is right, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. You expect the Mongols and Ottomans to conform to modern values but have no problem excusing the present day Bush Blair hypocrisy of supporting and arming dictators and insurgents, or Israeli ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, in the best interest of their country.
Perhaps you should join forces with Buffalo Roam.
9/11, hamas charter, hezbollah, taliban, muslim brothers etc.
Sure you didn't miss anyone?![]()
I think Blair is supporting another one of Bush's illegal wars. He could have been provoking Iran by sending troops into Iranian territorial waters. Bush wants war with Iran, and he will do anything to get it, that's his MO.
The Iranians take British prisoners declaring that they were inside Iranian waters, and as far as you idiots are concerned the burden of proof falls upon the British that they were not.
The hypocrisy is astounding.
... well, not really. Perhaps "expected" would be a better word.
