Ok, lets assume god/allah/satan comes to you and offers to grant you whatever power you wish. What would you choose? I'd have to choose a special type of time travel. More specifically, the ability to rewind time. I walk out in the street and see a bus coming. I 'rewind' back before I stepped off the curb. I need more time to study. I read pages 1-100, then 'rewind' and read the next 100. I'd love to be able to go through life and take every option available to me... just to see the consequences. I'd be as good as living forever, aslong as I had time to 'rewind' before deathPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Indeed, time manipulation would be the ultimate superpower. Rewind, fast forward, stop, slow motion, tons of fun. I'm going to sleep so I can dream about being a supervillan.
The power of the word ala The Preacher style. Your power comes from god himself and your word is infallible. Whatever i say people have to do...they have no choice because they have no free will under my word. Imagine how fast you can take over the world with that cool skill. Also power of the ass...with my pimp ring i can get ass much ass as i want from anybody i want...(them being women ofcourse)Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Lol.. I didn't think about that. If my pickup line doesn't work, I just rewind and try every other method I know. Then I could also do just about anything, because I'd rewidn and it wouldn't have actually happenedPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Id take absolute control over my own body on a cellular level. (ie: shapeshifting, regeneration, near-immortality, etc) I would be the first person to get into orbit alive without a spacecraft.
My super-power would be x-rays vision that i could activate whenever i wanted that way i always get a good look at the hott ladies :m: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I would choose the ability to maniulate the buildin blocks of matter at will. A kind of psionic energy to rearrange protons into different atoms, change molecular structure, etc. I think that would be an ultimate power. You can't touch me if i've just rearranged your atoms into a McDonald's hamburger...yumm!! -AntonK
i would def. choose the power to manipulate all things metal. unlimited powers of magnetism. which include harnessing the earth's own magnetic field for building a sort of magnetic force field thing which will stop ANYTHING. worship magneto....the coolest superhero ever. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
you see, time manipulation should really be thrown out because for almost any superpower you think of, it could be synthesized by time manipulation. not fair! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
PORNOGRAFO The power to turn any situation into a sex scene with my awesome porn powers. ***for those who saw late night show with Conon O Brian on May 8 know what i mean ****Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I just saw Bruce Almighty the other night. Quite funny. But rather than sounding like Blinx the Time Sweeper for XBox, Magneto, Orgazmo, or Jason Ironheart from B5 ... My super power of choice would be: Seeing the Future. I would like to be able to focus on certain aspects of culture, individuals, or myself and see what may happen in the future. Knowing that the future is always changing, this would give me at least some opportunity to make necessary changes if need be. But if I believed in fate, these changes would have no effect. In that case, I could make any necessary preperations for what is bound to happen. Kinda makes you wonder whether belief dominates reality. If you believe in something so strongly, such as fate, does that make it real to you? Would fate not apply to those who don't believe in a pre-destined path?
I chose the ability to manipulate time for the same reasons you choose seeing the future. The difference is that you only get to see all the possible choices, but I could live all the choices.
My super power of choice would be incredable blind luck. No mater where I go or what I do the situation ends up turning in my favor, and I look good in the process!
Kind of sounds like the powers of the Kwisatz Haderach, Paul-Muad'Dib from Dune. He had the power to see the future, yet was trapped in the "destiny" of his own prophesies...it really didn't go to well for him...think I'll pass. Would rather have Leto II 's powers. -AntonK
