I try to avoid what I see as the glorification of the "consumer culture"

In this case I doubt I would have any interest in what I would consume ,unless it was (as in my mother's case) a sip of water as her mouth was dry -must have been as enjoyable as might be hoped for.

I remember when George Harrison was attacked in his home by a knife wielding (from memory) intruder the thought that was going through his mind was that this man was taking away his right to die on his own terms(he must have had some plan for how he would take those last steps)

I don't know if some kind of a meal was in his itinerary at that stage....

Yes has to be Vindaloo level. I live in Manchester and we used to have a curry mile, lots of fantastic curry houses and cafes when I was out as a student in the 1980s. Mainly gone now sadly.

    Bradford fantastic too.

I make good ones too but if I am getting on the ship? Indian restaurant, Indian music and in India. Karur is my choice. They have Kingfisher lager in bottles.
"Excuse me, what is the alcohol content?"

    "About 8% sir."

    "About 8%?"

    "Is that a problem sir?"

    "No."
