strgrl Geocities sites, as with other sites, do not allow images to be used outside of their servers. You have to pick and chose your sites carefully. That is difficult considering one usually doesn't know if a site will release those images or not. It's kind of a crapshoot. Don't give up. Keep trying other sites. Why don't you start a new thread for practicing html ? Others with excellent html skills will probably join in and help you. They will also show you things you might not know but would like to know.
