Personally I prefer the look of the Augmentation systems, where a vizor is placed on a person that sits in a 2m x 2m cubicle. The vizor is not like the screens that have been seen with Virtual Reality (VR) systems because it only projects a reflection of what the computer is processing onto an angled glass sheet.

(Similar to how the Theatre use to use Glass to generate the appearance of ghosts on stage, when they were in fact just actors standing at the side of a stage with a light shone on them.)

The cubicle is basically your confines, and the VR is then projected onto the glass-sheet to co-exist with the cubicle. You can sit down in the cubicle and access a computer with monitor as normal, but what you could do is grab text from a screen like a hyperlink and then stick it to the cubicle wall. Then all you would need to do to surf the site is tap the place on the cubicle wall where the link is stored and the page would popup on the computer.
