No, because then it would interfere with the two basic objectives of life. Even cows and sheep can achieve one of those....so it would make you less than a cow or a sheep.
There certainly were preciously stated conditions - and I hold you to your exact wording. You just fail to understand the importance of specificity. An ambiguous choice of wording has been the downfall of many besides just you.
More chance of catching a fish in the woods than a bird or bear...? The pill sounds interesting, but you haven't covered anywhere near the amount of questions that would arise if somebody were to seriously considering taking it. What emotions, thoughts or ideas would go through your head as a gang of non-pill-popping youths battered you with sticks and snapped your fishing rod*? *assuming you had previously been arsed to make one Bad things happen. That's the nature of life. There are ups and downs. If you're in a constant state of bliss, presumably you couldn't care less if the river dries up and you starve to death? If you're in such a state, you're going to die sooner rather than later. Why not skip the pill, the bliss and the time by jumping off a bridge?
No. I would never take ANY drug. I do think that some people around here have already found that drug and taken it though. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I take no drugs on purpose. Yes there may be some in the foods I eat, but I do not take anything. Not even a Tylenol.
I would be very tempted to take it. Being young and restless and stupid, I would probably hold off from taking it until I was older and had accomplished some things and done something with my life. Ultimately, though, I think I would take it, because ultimately accomplishments mean nothing and ultimately nothing matters.
You mean 'previously' dont you??? Yes, but they make no mention of eternal effects. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
No, it would not affect your intelligence. However the constant flow of thoughts and emotion derived from fear, desire and pride would be greatly diminished. Your mind would become very quiet, but no less capable of thought.
Ah, you would still suffer from hunger and thirst, as stated, so you'll obviously still be motivated to seek food and water.
You're far from stupid Francois. Its been said that people want ecstasy and excitement when they're young, and peace when they're older. Or maybe they're just tired? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
A strictly materialist point of view. If the entire planet vanished...the stars would twinkle just as cheerfully.
