I don't do it often either. It seems to me that hallucinogens have lees of an effect on the brain than anti-depressants because you don't depend on them as much. But like everything else, if you take them in high doses quite frequently then your brain's wiring becomes messed.
Problem for the liver though...not to mention the social consequences. I'd rather have a mashed up head than a smashed in face....drinking is a dangerous business. Something like 3/4 of emergency weekend admissions to hospitals are alcohol-related.
I should add that I used to sell alcohol to the public but gave up due to my concern over what it did to peoples health and social lives.
I read and saw on TV that mari slows the spread of Alzheimers in the brain. Alz being a grayish jely that creeps across the brain. ari significantly slowed the progress of the diseae and in mild cases of Alz erased it completely. I do have some short term memory loss though, but my longterm is excelent. I even recall the license plate number of our family station wagon in 1972! I've also memorized all national capitals and 90% of flags. Better come by soon madant! You might get alzheimers!!!!!
Alcohol is far more destructive to the body than weed. Drunk people fight, drive and kill eachother and other people. Weed smokers giggle alot, drive meticulously due to paranoia and are generally in better health than a regular drinker. I'm both so I cancel myself out. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Just a guess: I think marijuana mimics what Alzheimers does to the brain - so if one gets Alzheimers later the brain has the synaptic development to support normal functioning.
Alright mister pompous Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Who's to say what a superior man is? Isn't that thing kinda relative? Maybe its not beneficial to you in any way, but why not others?
Let them say we're crazy. What do they know? Put your arms around me, baby, don't ever let go. Let the world around us just fall apart. Baby, we can make it if we're heart to heart. Oh, all that I need is you. All that I ever need. All that I want to do is hold you forever, forever and ever. And we can build this thing together, stand in stone forever, nothing's gonna stop us now. And if this world runs out of lovers we'll still have eachother. Nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us now. And we can build this thing together, stand in stone forever, nothing's gonna stop us now. And if this world runs out of lovers we'll still have eachother. Nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us now.
Sadly, such anecdotes prove nothing. I was watching a report on people who lived to be 100. There was not a vegetarian among them. Most of them ate eggs and bacon for breakfast every day, smoked, drank, everything. Too live to an extremely old age requires good genes more than anything else. As far as Alzheimer's, I'd heard that report. I think this: is a really good theory. I hope some researchers frequent this site. A PET scan of people smoking pot and Alzheimers patients might be a good way to test this theory.
They say E puts you in a state of euphoria or sensual love. But I personally don't get that way. It seems like marijuanna has more of that effect. Also, it can heighten your physical performance I noticed. Probably due to adrenaline.
"Marijuana" only has one N. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! And I'd sure love to get additional income. If I could get away with it, and it was safe enough, sure.
It's a fact. Alcohol does permanent damage to your whole body. Pot can only do so much ... and thats only if you abuse it.
Yes there are. There are health benefits to pretty much anything that doesn't kill you. I'm not sure about which is worse for you. But I'd say that alcohol and pot are both bad for you in different ways, and good for you in different ways. They both have their benefits, depending on what your intentions are and how your specific body runs. No need to get in a quibble concerning subjective experiences. What is good for one person might not be for another.
