And now more associated - in the UK, anyway - with Princess Di, after Elts performed it at her funeral. And thus somewhat devalued for me. You're right though - it does have some resonance, and doesn't deserve its place on the list.
I find a lot of songs distasteful. Even in my favorite genres too, like trance and techno. A lot of the recent songs suck. I think I switch the radio most compulsively, most instantly, when I hear Sean Paul. Yet others such as Ja Rule in 2002, 2003 were okay to listen to, but I really never liked any of their songs.
