Ok this is a local issue and its not local to the US so most of you will have no interest but this is VERY important for australia and its worth putting up here. Finally, the senate has finally capitulated to the government and passed the fair work bill. It looked like we would be heading back to the poles for a DD election but the Family first (fundamentalists first more like) Steve Fielding, FINALLY passed the bill. If he hadn't then he and the opposition would probably have been destroyed when the government took this back to the polls because the last election was fought over this Act and people strongly wanted it abolished
